Assembly can be a challenge for those who are not used to assembling furniture but the aesthetics and the function our perfect. I made sure to read all the reviews beforehand and decided to go for it. It shipped very quickly which I was happy with. Box is heavy which isn't a surprise. I had a hard time by myself getting it up into my apartment so I would recommend two people for moving it. It took me about an hour to put together. The instructions were clear and none of the steps were difficult to follow. One thing that could be a con potentially is it doesn't come with any spare parts so if you lose a screw or other piece you'd be out of luck unless you have other spare bits in your home. The heat is pretty decent works for my apartment. I think it'd be fine in a house too it just wouldn't heat the whole house only the room it's in. Pretty good storage and sturdy. Overall happy with the purchase. Again one person can do it all but having two might be more helpful. ... show more

Building isn’t too hard, 90% of it is easy, hardest part is screwing in the fireplace to the stand. Tight space and makes it difficult to screw in. Otherwise looks and works great so far.

Before buying this I read through some reviews, as I usually do. Based on some of them I was hesitant to make this purchase. One review said it took 3 hours to put together. Another review said you can’t adjust the shelving height. Another review said the directions were unclear. There was even a review that said you would have to drill your own holes for the shelving to go into place. Needless to say I bought it anyway and I am blown away by the quality. It took me 45 minutes to build this thing. Anyway, it was very easy to build, the directions couldn’t have been simpler and you can absolutely adjust the shelving on either side. Now, I do see that there are pictures of different types of consoles in the reviews, which I was confused by. But, if you’re buying the one in the picture I included, you’re mechanically inclined and you have a screw driver (hopefully you have a drill/driver because that makes it 10 times easier) and a rubber mallet, this will be a simple for you. The flame lighting looks really cool, I was impressed by that. And the heat output surprised me, given that the vent looks very small. It toasted up my whole game room in 15 mins. I highly recommended this to anyone looking to add a nice aesthetically pleasing ambiance to their living space. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This little heater has been perfect to keep our downstairs area warm without needing to turn on the central heater. I usually hate the look of normal space heaters, however, this matched perfectly with our living room decor and looks like a mini fireplace. This unit is good for the price, but not great. The measurements for the insides of the shelves are not really accurate and smaller than listed. We had chose this unit to fit an audio receiver unit in the shelf, however after you put the tv stand together, due to the lip that is along the outsides, it was not possible to slide the receiver in. This was a bummer for us since we made sure to measure everything to fit, but we did not know there was a lip that made the entrance to the shelf smaller. We did not want to be bothered with returning the unit after putting it together. The fireplace heater is nice, it makes some small noise, and is not adjustable at all. There is just one setting for the heat, on or off, and one setting for the fireplace light, on or off. Overall it feels cheap, but, it was cheap! ... show more
