I absolutely LOVE this shelving unit! The style and color of “wood” is beautiful. It is very sturdy, holding a vast amount of nail supply products at a significant weight. The color and design gives me warm feelings of my late grandmother’s furniture. I do my own nails now, and I really needed somewhere to put everything, as I went on a spending spree after a nail salon horror nightmare back in January worse than any I’d seen anywhere onlne (I will never go to a salon ever again! I don’t care who are they are; no trust left in nail techs, and that’s saddening.). Drilled my nails to shreds and a nail still has a hole in it—finally healing marvelously, though slowly with the help of using OPI products I purchased on Amazon. I know, I should’ve been controversial with the tech while sitting there, but shock had paralyzed me. Anyway, I had nail stuff all over my apartment and it was taking over every nook and cranny, so my husband told me to buy a bookcase to organize it all. It really wasn’t a tough decision…as soon as I saw this product I fell in love with its look and style and color. The dimensions are a perfect fit for where I wanted to place it with a few inches between it and the TV. It looks great in our home! And now my supplies are completely organized and easy to find what I want when I went! So very happy! Highly recommended for anything you may want organize, store, or display. I am disabled, which means I can’t do most physical things, such as this that may be strenuous. My husband was the one who put it together, so I can’t comment on how it was done or if there were pieces or screw issues, or if you need a bit of strength, since I didn’t watch. However, it only took a couple minutes until he was finished and moved it into place. I assume it was super easy piecing it together because I didn’t hear him complain once about any difficulties. This is my second time ordering furnino bookcases. My first batch, the shorter style, ended up going into the closet for sweaters. I ordered the 6 shelf for small appliances and cookbooks, and ended up using it as a kitchen bookcase/open pantry. 1. The packing foam dust clung onto everything. It was snowing packing foam particles and clinging onto everything. 2. There were minor scrapes and chips on several pieces. 3. Some of the pieces were not marked. On the upside, and the reason for the 5 star review, the value, the physical manageability, and the ease of assembly understandability and assembly. The directions say 30 minutes with two people, and I believe it. It took me an hour and a half with luxurious ease by myself. Totally doable in an hour by yourself if you feel confident, you’ve got this!!! It is not a luxurious solid wood ancestral or legacy inheritable masterpiece. The mastery is the design of ease and value. I do think I’m going to touch up a few spots. But for the price, a tenth of its solid wood counterparts, I highly recommend it. Super easy in every way.     • The backing is so thin you can tear it like a sheet of paper

The price was better than most and for that you get cheap functionality with the usual particleboard construction. It's what I expected and would be perfect for my needs, but there is one problematic exception: The backing is not the thin MDF panel I expected, but almost paper-thin cardboard, scored along two lines and folded into the box. You have to be very careful once you unfold it how you move it around as it will tear easily along the scored lines. In fact, I recommend you run a piece of packing tape down the seams to protect it before attempting to fit it into place. Also, like paper it will buckle if there's any extra play between nails, so be sure to smooth it down as you're placing each nail. Once nailed into place you also need to be extremely careful not to press any books up against it as they will quite easily rip the paperboard wherever it is nailed into the particleboard. For this reason I can't recommend this product. It would have been perfect for the price if they'd used an appropriate material for the backing. If I had known I would have spent a little more money on a similar product that doesn't share this shortcoming. ... show more

Its pretty good for its price, it was easy to assemble took about 30 minutes but it is very wobbly it is not sturdy it shakes a lot. The size is about 6ft and the room is good but the back is straight cardboard and very cheap and almost ripped on me
