I just finished putting this together (I got the one side table) and it was simple and is actually very sturdy. Reviewers that are saying they wouldn't trust putting a cup on it must not have put it together properly, or pieces were defective. I feel like I could almost sit on it. It did come a little scuffed on the top, but I was never concerned about appearance. I'm a gamer who likes a good theater sound system, and I have five remotes/controllers, my phone, and a water bottle and had nowhere to put them. The floor was fine until I ended up unexpectedly fostering kittens (had to add a squirt bottle to my collection) that like to run around and stomp on buttons. Because of the kittens, I expected it to be scratched to hell within a few weeks anyway, so the scuff doesn't matter to me at all. I saw a reviewer or two complain about dings, but if you ask me, you deserve to be unhappy if you were that concerned about something looking perfect but only willing to fork over $20. If you want perfect items, pay for it. That's like buying a spaghetti TV dinner and complaining that it isn't quality straight from Italy. Also, another reviewer complained about it being short, and that it would only fit a bed that was just a box spring and mattress on the floor. Yes, the table is short, but the measurements are there. Don't blame the product for your mistake in overlooking details and/or not measuring beforehand. It also doesn't make you an ingrate for having a box spring and mattress on the floor with no bed frame. I'm a college student with a limited budget who would prefer to spend what extra cash I have on my technology and practical things. A bed frame isn't practical for my needs. Besides, "ingrate" was the wrong word. It means "ungrateful." I'm not ungrateful simply because I don't have a bed frame. Perhaps you were looking for "savage?" Or "peasant?" Possibly "degenerate?" Maybe even "barbaric?" Bottom Line: I'm very happy with this table. It's prefect for what I needed it for! Note: I chose to put the drawer on the top shelf instead as it fits on both top and bottom shelf. ... show more

The wife was complaining how she needed a night stand by our bed. Searched and found this small but yet wonderful piece of furniture. Perfect size for the side of the bed, most night stands are bulky and hard to get into tight spaces. Love the cloth style drawer, beautiful color coordinating. She uses it mainly for books and to hide candy in the drawer. Its the perfect height the last one we had was higher than the bed and kept hitting her head on it. The first thing I will say about these tables is they are tiny, and I do mean tiny. However, if you've priced nightstands and end tables lately you know you can spend a small fortune for one. I went back and forth between 3 and 4 stars and I'd give it somewhere in the middle. It's great that you can get 2 tables for this price but they are so short and you have to be ready to assemble them as well. I am posting a picture so you can see it in relation to the bed. I've seen a lot of bad reviews on this product claiming it was cheap, that it was hard to assemble, or that the table were really small. 1. The tables are exactly the dimensions advertised. They're perfect for what I needed. I measured what size tables I needed ahead of time, so I knew they'd work. 2. The assembly is painless, as the directions are really clear. The parts are all even labeled. I've had horrible experiences in the past with other build-it-yourself furniture; this was painless. 3. If you screw the screws tight, the table doesn't wobble. And the material doesn't appear super cheap to me. I will say, I peeked one of the labels off one of the legs and it did feel the finish off with it, however it's pretty small. Beyond that, the tables are great for the price. My package arrived with all the right parts and instructions, nothing was missing, and was assembled in less than an hour. No complaints here ... show more

Super easy to put together. It's not big by any means (look at the measures of the table and measure your space so there would not be any surprises). It works perfectly with my space as my bed is not really high and my bedroom is not big either. Feels sturdy enough, the drawer comes in and out easily. As I was pulling the pieces out of the box, I was skeptical. Was this going to be junky and complicated to construct? Is this drawer even going to function? Is this tall enough to even be usable? Well I was pleased to note that the construction required quite a few pegs, but it wasn't bad and I built both in like 20 min. The table is stout, durable, sturdy. There is an appropriate weight to it and the height wasn't a problem either. We have a bed that's lower to the ground, so this works great for us as a nightstand. I do have to say that the drawer will sometimes catch between the legs making it difficult to shut. It's only a minor detail, but I hope the fabric is strong enough to take me jamming it into wood for a few years. It may rip itself apart. ... show more
