False Advertising.. this is NOT orthopedic .. there is no support. The bed that you get is not the bed pictured in the advertisement. The outside looks the same but the stuffing of the bed that is pictured is memory foam, the bed that you get is just Polyester stuffing which sucks ! It feels like your sitting on the floor. The tag says it’s “filled with foam that is made in the USA and certiPUR-US certified” which is not true. Don’t waste your money. I am a bit disappointed in this dog bed. It looked soft and fully stuffed when I removed it from the package, but once I stepped on it, I could feel the floor right under my feet. There is no firmness or cushion to it. I was hoping for something more like memory foam. The bed is large and the cover is soft and seems to be of good quality material. I like that it has separate compartments for the headrest and the bed. I also like that both have zippers so you can remove the cover and wash it. I just wish the stuffing had more substance to it. I will probably keep it and try to add something to the inside, there seems to be plenty of room in the bed compartment to do that. ... show more

Let's start with how it arrived in a big shrink-wrapped ball that was just weird. Not sure where the seller got those pictures of the actual bed (especially with the dog laying on it), but they ABSOLUTELY *DO NOT* represent the product you will receive! There is NO support in this "bed" whatsoever. The "cushion" looks more like a sack filled with a bunch of cotton balls. The "bolster" is stuffed with some sort of lumpy filler and not solid at all either. It comes with assembly instructions (I included a picture)... but don't rely on that because the bed looks nothing like it--no firm bolsters, no egg crate padding, no firm final result. The cover isn't too bad, but otherwise the bed is complete trash. I'm not even sure I want to bother trying to find a way to package it to send it back. Extremely disappointed. when i ordered it was described as a chaise lounge pillow with memory foam/egg crate to ensure my dogs were getting a very comfortable sleeping experience. well it was totally a difference experience. we opened the box to find that the bed looked like it had been washed a million times and the foam had fallen apart, there was no form to the bed at all. worst of all was the the price you pay you expect you are going to get something very nice. it certainly was a complete failure. it looks like an old lumpy mattress that you would let the kids jump on just before you take to the dump. ... show more

This was my second attempt to purchase a dog bed from this vendor. The first one was TOO small - it was represented to fit up to a 55 lb dog but my 41 pound dog could barely fit in it. But it did look fairly well constructed with the orthopedic foam as represented. I returned it and requested a replacement bed and got this one. It is stuffed with cheap cotton type material that is wadded up for a very uneven, lumpy distribution (see photo). It is SO lumpy and uneven you lose the effect of the bolster as you can't even see it. It is not the orthopedic foam like the other one I wanted replaced. My dogs would have nothing to do with this bed. It's going back as return # 2 and I'm choosing a different compay. ... show more

The photos of these dogs not making a dent in the sleep space of this bed, is highly deceiving. This version of the bed is not anywhere near as good as the orthopedic memory foam bed they have. The problem I face with my dog, as a 130 LB Great Dane, is that he may weigh a lot, but loves to curl up in a ball. I had hoped this was the perfect additional bed for the living room. I considered returning it, but instead, I bought a twin sized memory foam mattress topper and folded it to make a sturdy, comfortable bottom inside of this bed. There is nothing more than a few handfuls of "fluff" that shifts all around inside. When I tested it out myself, my own elbow hit the hard floor underneath the bed, before I added foam. ... show more

Do not be mislead! This is my second Furhaven bed for my Great Dane. The other one was great! It was memory foam and kept it's shape. This one is essentially an overstuffed pillow. My dog weighs just under a hundred pounds and I'd be surprised if she isn't feeling the floor through this "bed". Even the bolster is filled with pieces of foam. Other than the cover this bed looks nothing like the picture. I'd send it back if I could get it back in the box. ... show more
