My significant other was convinced by me to adopt a miniature Yorkshire Terrier. I had one that lived for 16 years before passing away a few months before the adoption was final. I bought this because I noticed that my sweet puppy enjoyed having a little place to hide inside on top of his mountain of toys. Promptly encouraged this purchase. He enjoyed it very much but he was quickly overwhelmed by the unbelievable level of toys he had accumulated. The box was now full after he carefully placed every toy in the box and left him with no room to enter and get comfortable. Enough time left like that and he lost interest in napping in there however he was always there arranging things just so he could get out the toy at the very bottom and act like he had to play with the specific toy instead of the other ones that were thrown around everywhere in the process. Today, this is in very good shape, a few months ago it was donated to a family as something that they could gift their rescue Cat. I became very sick after a cervical surgery and when I was at my lowest my ex-fiancée kicked me while I was down by leaving me completely unexpected. As I was sitting in the hospital for the 11th time in 6 months and I only tell because it’s the truth and I said I was at my worst because she took my dog away from me. I wanted my cat to be able to look out my office windows without having to drill anything into my walls or windowsill. I’m really happy I stumbled upon this because the added bonus of my cat being able to curl up inside it is perfect. Within minutes my cat checked out both the inside and jumped on top. It looks a lot better than I thought it would its easy to assemble we got new couchs and it was hard for our dog to get up on the couch this is just that but lower to help her she took to it right away

If you decide to use this for storage you will have no way to block the pet entrance since the only support for the bottom is a very flimsey piece of something with a topping of fur like material. If you also plan to use this as an ottoman it is not soft. The top/lid has very little cushioning. My senior cat has gone in a few times for very short periods, I don't think he likes it much. Maybe your pet will enjoy it. Overall it is an attractive ottoman, color is true to type. I just think I wasted money. ... show more

The little dogs loved it. Didn't so much play with the toy, but some did. Problem was, one of the bigger dogs loved it too, lol. My cat is not using it as intended in the pictures but he does like it. The color is very pretty and quality seems to be good. However, this thing has some plastic smell when I first took it out of the packaging. I was going to not assemble it and let it air out for a few days, but the cat couldn’t wait so I put it together for him. He immediately declared ownership. I have had a few foot rests similar to this )the ones you can fold flat). This one is very sturdy and not wobbly at all compare to the other ones I had previously.
