The size was exactly as expected, and I couldn't find any issue with the stitching or buttons. This year I've begun to widen my wardrobe by buying various colorful, Hawaiian-styled shirts. Although this particular shirt can't quite be classified the same because of its particular graphical design, it has the same loud, eye-catching effect and is also great worn loose over an undershirt. The biggest difference is that this shirt looks classier, less casual than a Hawaiian shirt. This shirt might be better for casual nights out on the town than for the beach. This limits how I wear it, but the tradeoff is fine since it does have a classier feel while still being something you can wear casually. People will notice, that's for sure. The large I ordered fits nice and loosely for me, allowing it to flow and not bunch up around my wide shoulders and chest. I'm normally between medium and large, depending on the particular shirt. I ordered this shirt for BBQ and other parties during the summer. Its short sleeve and made from very light, synthetic materials so it should do well in hot weather. I'm a size 16" neck, 43" chest and 34" waist and normally take a large size men's shirt, so that's what I ordered. And this shirt fits just great. It's a little loose and I wear it outside my pants. The graphics are a hoot. Very bright colors and sharp detail. It has the same appeal to me as wearing a superhero T-shirt - sort of tongue in cheek funny. The full unsplit graphics on the back are really great. This will be an attention grabber for sure. So, the shirt looks and fits as expected. I really like it. The shirts looks as depicted. I ordered a size up from what I normally wear and glad I did. That may not be the case for smaller sizes but for bigger sizes it certainly was the case for me. 4XL fits like a 3XL. The colors and design on a soft silky fabric makes it a nice shirt.
