The texture and quality of this gossamer paper was perfect for what I needed to create for my work tree: bows! The work tree is 12 feet tall but since I had no one to help, I decided to leave out one of the sections which left a huge gaping hole. I created huge bows using this gossamer paper to cover the holes. Once I finished, none was the wiser that the beautiful gossamer paper bows were covering something. Some of the bows I left "plain" but some I decided to add leftover wrapping paper to add a layer of dimension and pizazz to the bows. The gossamer paper was just sheer enough yet strong enough to work. We used this to hang from the ceiling of my sorority house on Preference Night and it worked like a charm! In previous years we had used sheets which were super heavy and expensive. The gossamer was super light and just needed a little duct tape to hang from the ceiling! Would definitely recommend - it worked like a charm for us! ... show more

I seen somewhere that some use this fabric if on a budget - kinda stuff but worked really well - a lot of comments - doesn’t really tear or anything like that

    • Poor quality! Tears easily! Not worth money, use other brand!
It states that it is super good quality... don't be fooled! Not worth the money! We bought the more expensive option thinking we would get better quality and it stunk! We bought it for our wedding and didn't have time to exchange or return due to the fact that our wedding was happening! It was supposed to be delivered by 8pm and didn't come until after which cut into our setup time. The product tore super easily and had huge tears throughout! We used it for exactly what it suggested but was super unhappy with the quality. ... show more

It was a bit more stiff than I thought it would be but worked out great, everyone thought the wedding was beautiful. Easy too work with when swooping from ceiling but tougher around the arbor. Staples work great to hold if connecting to wood.

    • Thick material - quilt batting weight?!?
As other reviews state, this is a thicker material than any gossamer I've ever worked with. It holds its form too well for draping. Thankfully I had some tulle as a back-up. Returned this item.
