  • Great Desk with High Build Quality
Size: 72" x 30" Color: Silver
I purchased this desk to upgrade my home office. I've now been using it for a few weeks and would not go back to my old setup. I am using it with a tower pc beside the desk, a laptop on a stand on the desk, three 24" monitors mounted on arms, two keyboards, and two mice. The desk is quite stable, both at chair height and standing height. Moving between presets is very smooth, quiet, and pretty quick. I'm 5'10" and had no problem setting comfortable presets for both standing and sitting. I like having the extra space that the 30" depth gives. I can push the keyboards back and still have enough room to work with actual paper when needed. The design is clean and modern. The build quality is outstanding. The legs are HEAVY, the welds are smooth, and the silver gray finish on them was completely blemish free. The dark desktop finish is a transparent stain which allows the wood grain to show through. The control unit is simple to use and unobtrusive. I like that the display turns off after a short period of inactivity. The legs have four adjustable foot pads in case your floor is uneven and you need a bit of fine tuning to get the desktop level. Shipped in three separate boxes which arrived over two days. Two large boxes containing the legs and electronics and one VERY large flat one containing the desktop. The packaging was very high quality. Everything arrived without damage. Given past experience with large/heavy packages, I expected the desktop to have minor dents, but that didn't happen. Make sure you have a friend available to help you move the desktop box off from the "porch" into the house. Assembly was under 1 hour, and required only a #2 Phillips head screwdriver (provided by me) and two hex wrenches (included in the box). You don't need power tools and you shouldn't use them. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. You might be able to do everything by yourself on some of the smaller models, but with a desk this big you'll need two people to flip it over after assembly and move it into place. ... show more

  • love the desk

The assembly was easy enough. Love the color of the dark bamboo top. The table is sturdy and the lift function is flawless. I do use the table daily as I work remotely.

  • Best 2 legged standing desk!
Size: 72" x 30" Color: Black
Dear Fully, I appreciated getting this desk during their 15% off sale. I bought the 72x30” version with 3 staged legs, and programmable paddle. I bought directly from Fully and I ordered the desk on a Monday morning when I saw they were having a sale and then I received it Thursday that week. I work from home full-time so it was nice that the desk came in on Thursday because I work Sunday-Thursday from 2:30pn-11:00pm. I waited til it was Friday to put the desk together. Everything came in 3 boxes. One was for the desktop, one was for the legs, and the final one was for the middle brackets. Everything was well packaged however, the desktop had an 1” dent towards the upper left hand side where the grommet was. I immediately contacted Fully because the grommet caps that came with the desk were also broken. To my surprise, they got back to me within an hour and they gave me two options: 1) to accept a $150 credit towards my purchase and keep the damaged desk or 2) accept a new desktop to be sent out but it would take a week or so. Due to the fact that I work from home I needed the desk to be fully functional by Sunday or at least that was my goal because the desk I was using was a POC manual s/s desk that I bought from Amazon a year ago. I decided to replace it because of the ridiculous amount of wobble and rocking from the desk. After looking into my old desk I found out that it was only rated for 100lbs which is not much considering it was including the desktop. Sure it was a good size at 55”x24”’s but the instability was super annoying. I’m not going to mention the name of the manufacture but they are no longer selling this particular desk on Amazon now which I can understand. I was happy with the size of the desk but the stability was killing me and I don’t know why I didn’t do more research on the desk when I bought it a year ago so I pretty much just wasted $300 on a desk even though my 7yo son is using it now because he doesn’t have a ton of stuff and will work for him. Because I needed the desk to work right away, literally, I started to put things together crossing my fingers that nothing else was messed up. I chose to go with the credit because I did not want to wait for another desktop that could potentially also be damaged because it was being delivered by FedEx and we all know how horrible they are now and because it was small enough that it really didn’t bother me. It was only about .5”’s big which is not very big and I covered it with a sharpie and now I have no idea where it is. I did not need to have another top sent to me because I am running out of room in my house to store things so another desktop this big would be stupid because I would have no use for it and disposing of something this large will be a pita. $150 credit seemed like the better choice and because I didn’t want to disassemble the desk to install the new top. It just made more sense and I was content on my new desk overall. Plus, if something happens down the road I could just call Fully and use the warranty because it’s valid for up to 5yrs for the top. The Jarvis Dark Bamboo desk is like night and day compared to the old desk. At sitting height this desk does not wobble or rock. I have the 3 staged legs so it goes down pretty low. My sitting height is at 35”’s and it can go even lower than that but I have a metal filing cabinet underneath the desk and I’ve already programmed the desk to not go any lower than 35”’s but it looks like it will go much much lower. My standing height is 48”’s and even at that height the desk barely wobbles and/or rocks. This desk is super sturdy and you can tell from the sound of the motors that the desk can handle up to 350lbs without any issues. The dual motors in the legs make moving the desk up and down extremely quick. It takes a mere 10 seconds to go from sitting to standing which is pretty fast and I have 2 monitors, a MBA m1, a 2017 Surface Pro, iPad Pro 11”, a MINI PC, lamp, headset, keyboard tray, yeti mic and boom arm, and other random desk things always on the desk. Everything fits fine but I don’t know how much all my stuff weighs but I’m 100% sure it well below 350lbs because the desk moves up and down with little effort. I am still using a keyboard tray because I had one for my old desk and I loved it. Having a keyboard tray allows me to have so much desktop real estate. I had a 24” deep desk and now I have a 30” deep desk and I’m still using the Vivo keyboard tray. It is big enough to fit my Logitech MX Keys keyboard and my MX Master 3 mouse that I’ve had for over 2yrs now with a lot of room left over. Just to put it into perspective, you can buy the Grovemade, medium sized desk pad and it will be just a bit larger than the keyboard tray but literally like mm’s larger so not much. I know because I’m using a wool desk pad from them for my keyboard tray and Glorius wooden wrist rests. When the tray is not in use I can slide it underneath my desk which is really nice and saves a lot of room because I was using it in one of our spare bedrooms but I have now moved my desk into our master bedroom so we don’t have as much space as I did before so every inch counts. I’ve been using my desk everyday for about 3 weeks now and everything is perfect. The size of the tabletop is perfect, it’s large enough to fit everything I wanted, and the fact that it’s almost 1” thick and extremely heavy makes the desk seem so much more premium. I knew that Fully made great desks because I bought my wife a Fully Boden fixed height desk a month ago for my wife because she was using a cheap iKea desk that we brought over from when I was living with my mom. The desk was only 42x30’s but the legs are super thick steel and the walnut desktop was also very heavy. 10x heavier than the iKea desk which was made of particle board and some aluminum legs. You can tell the desk was a cheap desk and it was ugly because it was over 5yo. I insisted that my wife let me buy this desk for her because she also work from home full-time and her setup is in the corner of our living room and the iKea desk was an eye sore. It was ugly white and it stuck out like a sore thumb. After I put the Boden together I knew that it was extremely solid so I assumed that their standing desk would be the same and it was. I have not owned many other standing desk outside of these two but I can tell that it’s quality made and it will last a long time. It’s nice the warranty on the frame and electrical is 15yrs and 5yrs on the top. Uplift haas a similar policy but they did not have a sale and there was just something I didn’t like about Uplift. What drew me to Fully was the fact that they were bought by Herman Miller, a furniture giant that has been around for multiple decades and is still going strong. I know that no matter what happens I would not have to buy another desk for the next 15yrs and at $750 shipped I would be paying only $50/yr or $4.17/month to own this desk. That’s super cheap if you break it down and since they’re now part of Herman Miller they won’t be going anywhere anytime soon. Uplift has similar policies but they are not back by a giant like Herman Miller. The installation took a little longer than I wanted it to. 15 minutes was spent trying to figure out how the middle bracket came apart. The instructions showed that there should be 3 pieces, a left, middle, and right bracket for the crossbar however, when I unboxed everything it was in one piece and I couldn’t figure out how to get them apart. I tried using all the strength that I had but I could not pull them apart. I was 90% sure that they sent me wrong parts or it got mixed up until I looked closer and I saw there were small black set screws. The only reason why I figured it out because I had just put together a piece of iKea furniture that had similar set screws and it just made sense. Nothing in the instructions told you that you had to unscrew the set screws to get the 3 pieces apart. Nothing. I literally watched videos and I could not figure it out. I looked at the manually closely and noticed that step 9 or 10 talked about making sure the set screws were tight as skipping that step would cause stability issues and viola, I figured out that you had to take the set screws out to be able to take them apart. Once I took the set screws out, everything came apart perfectly. I get why they put the set screws during shipping but the instructions should talk about this earlier in the process. After I figured that part out, the rest was smooth sailing. I put the frame together and I brought the desktop to the bedroom and the frame separately because space was limited. I used an electric screw driver so screwing things in was easy and fast as there were already pilot holes in the desktop. Entire process probably took me 2hrs because I took my time to make sure all the cables were managed correctly. Setting up the keypad was easy. Didn’t really need the manual for programming as I just plugged in the desk and it raised up and down perfectly and was already leveled. I didn’t have to go through the instructions at all. It was plug in play and common sense to be honest. I was impressed that there was a spot specifically for the control box. I was thinking you had to drill it into the desktop but there was a special plate on the frame and it slides in perfectly and snuggly. From the start, the desk raised and lowered easily and the motors were pretty quiet. I personally like the way the motor sounds. It moves smoothly and quietly. The best part is that it slows down before it gets to your desired height. It doesn’t just stop at your sit or stand height it progressively slows down to a halt which is unique and pretty cool. This desk is the best 2 legged desk that you can buy and for $750 it’s a steal. Thanks Fully! ... show more
