As soon as they are put in they look fabulous on day one, although they did not match the color in the photos and were much lighter so it looked a little Ombre, but after one wash they are very frizzy and feel like a completely different texture. These are not remy hair which is important to get a glossy finish. I have had them in for three weeks now and cannot wait to remove them!!! It was a waste of money to get them put in from a stylist. They also have a weird smell that does not wash away. After one wash the hair was bushy and uncontrollable so the only way for them to look decent is to add some heat protection and straighten or curl them. Otherwise, if you do not, after blow drying it looks like a bush. After one week, the hair started coming out and losing lots of hair After two weeks, the color faded into a muddy blondish-brown and looks pretty bad in my brown hair. Every end is split. They also get matted down and do not hold curl. They feel stiff and bristle-like like animal hair texture. (think Yak hair for example) Overall, do not waste your money on these extensions. Not only is it a waste for the product, but you will also have the fee for the hairdresser to put this disaster of a product in your hair. **EDIT** I changed my review to 5 stars because they have very good customer service and they gave me a refund for my troubles ... show more

I wore these for 6 months with minimal shedding. They didn’t frizz and held curl well. I would recommend! When I get a new set I will probably go with the same brand but go with the butterfly weft just because they are easier to install.

This is how the hair looks after 2 weeks of being installed -tangled beyond any comprehension and thinned out, looking absolutely terrible. I am very careful with my extensions and follow all of the care instructions precisely, (and only wash them twice a week with high quality salon products) but after the 3rd wash the hair lost its shiny coating and straight texture and became insanely tangled and curly. It started out very shiny and lovely and manageable prior to this but now there is not one high end product that can fix if and make it wearable. My hairdresser even tried styling it with her best products and gave up- even when you think the tangles are under control wait 5 minutes and it’s once again a tangled ball close to your scalp. And forget about their care instruction to air dry the hair - that only ensures the hair will get even curlier and more tangled! It was silky straight for 2 weeks then POOF total deterioration! I’ve worn weft sewn in extensions for 15 years and I know the difference between high quality and garbage and this is clearly the latter. My hairdresser said there is NO WAY it’s 100% human hair, it’s likely mixed with synthetic. I have a flare up of tendinitis in my elbow from brushing this tangled embarrassing mess 500 times the past week because that’s all I can do to try and keep it somewhat smooth when I’m out in public. Total nightmare! My trash is filled with piles of hair from the floor and my brushes, and my poor little dog is walking around with clumps of hair on her little paws. The worst part is I spent $300 having it installed now I have to pay more to have this disaster removed. If the price seems too good to be true as it is here, remember you generally always get what you pay for! ... show more

Nothing wrong with thus hair! However, its not what I thought I was ordering. I wanted clip in extensions. The hair is real and soft. The color and length is accurate. You basically get 1 tiny bundle. The weft is supwr thin and would work well for someone with thin hair. See photo attached. Unfortunately, I must return as this is not what I need. If I had the patience I would so on my own hair clips and use them but I don't really have the equipment to do that. I am only giving 4 stars for now because of some shedding. I purchased 22 in, 120g, platinum blonde genius wefts. Upon opening, instantly impressed, they are silky smooth, very shiny and decently thick from top to bottom. Better quality then any other brand I have bought from Amazon, especially googoo (horrific dont waste your money, winnivov (sp) absolutely trash. I washed them prior, then installed via beaded sew in, the hair has remained in great shape over the course of 2 weeks, I have washed it 3-4x, I dont oil these daily, they just dont need it, I use silicon mix conditioner and they still look amazing, the hair hasn't broken off, become dry or damaged. My only complaint is some slight shedding that happened only after cutting an inch off the weft. Thats where my disappointment comes in, these are designed to not do that, but they did and now I'm stuck buying another bundle so that I can fold and sew it instead of cutting the excess off so I can avoid corner shedding. If it wasn't for that I'd give 5 stars. I colored deposited fashion color to match my hair, the deposit mask took very well. Just be sure to wash them before doing any coloring, be careful if you cut the wefts, they dry a very slight wave but nothing like other brands that dry curly, they are nice and thick from top to bottom, they do not have the tiny hairs at top of weft, thank goodness, I have had zero itching or scalp issues. I have only straightened them, havent curled them, but they do seem to style really well. They dont get frizzy, matted, dry etc. I would recommend any fine hair girls to get at least 180g for a nice full head. ... show more

3/8/22 Balayage Brown & Blonde + 18P613 Highlight Blonde Full Shine Genius Weft Extensions Review I’ve been using Full Shine weft extensions for six months now, and I absolutely love them! Although I’m not a licensed cosmetologist, I’ve learned to install sew-in wefts on myself—and Full Shine made that possible. The quality is impressive for the price, especially for someone new to extensions. While I can’t compare them to top-tier salon-grade hair, I’d still give Full Shine a solid 5 stars. My natural hair is around 14 inches long, and I use the 22-inch extensions for added length and volume. I blend two shades: 3/8/22 Balayage Brown & Blonde with 18P613 Highlight Blonde, both in the genius weft style. I sandwich the balayage tone between the highlight blonde for the perfect dimensional blend. My natural roots are close to a 3N dark brown, so I color the balayage shade using Wella 3N demi-permanent color, which it takes beautifully—better than the lighter blonde shade, in my experience. I’ve also tried the hand-tied weft before and while it added great fullness, the return hair irritated my scalp. The genius weft, on the other hand, is lightweight, comfortable, and perfect for warmer months. Overall, I’m obsessed with Full Shine’s weft extensions. They’re ideal for beginners like me who want quality hair without the salon price tag. With proper care, they hold up well, style beautifully, and deliver incredible value. UPDATE! Customer service has been absolutely amazing! They truly care about customer satisfaction and go above and beyond to address any issues! I was contacted directly by the company after my initial review and they were very kind, understanding and gracious in making efforts to ensure I was a satisfied customer. It speaks volumes about a company who values its customers to this level! Full shine is 100% deserving of 5 STARS! ✨✨✨✨✨ I will be reordering in the future and giving the products another try! At first, they were wonderful! I ordered an 18” weft and had it installed. They were super soft and beautiful after installation. I’ve had them in almost two weeks and only washed once. I use professional salon grade products when washing. After the wash, the hair went from amazing to poor. I was so disappointed because they were so perfect upon installation. It lost all shine and became extremely frizzy. I am having to use a heat protectant everyday and curling the hair to try and make it look decent or wear it up. The shedding has been absolutely terrible. The weft has thinned and become stringy from all the lost hair. I’m going to have to have them removed after only a couple weeks of wear. I’m afraid to wash them a second time and the issues worsen even more. I have worn extensions for years, and this is the first time I’ve experienced any of these issues. To be fair, it’s also the first time I’ve tried this brand.
