This bunk bed is sturdy and of good quality. It’s as described and arrived way before expected delivery date. My teens were able to put it together on their own, so the instructions were good. It looks nice; it’s a nice white color. My only complaint is that it’s short to me. Anyone older than 4-6 won’t be able to sit up in the bottom bed (and I am using an 8” mattress); I don’t particularly like that. Be sure about the measurements and your preference before purchasing. Also be careful about the thickness of the twin mattress you use for the trundle. 10” mattress doesn’t fit. ... show more

This is a great bed . We hired someone to put it together but all went well . For the price it’s a great deal . The only thing is on the bottom bunk there is very very little space so you almost feel like you’re going to hit your head when you wake up .

Product is easy to put together. It takes a bit of time if you are working by yourself, and you will need someone to help you hold pieces or lift the top onto the bottom at some point. Bunk bed is sturdy when it gets put together. Our daughters are little right now so it's plenty sturdy for them. You could easily add another cross piece or plywood for more support as they get older if need be. My wife and daughter were both on the top bunk and it held them easily. They recommend a 6 inch mattress in the top. We currently have an 8 inch mattress at the top. The guardrail might offer a little more protection with the 6 inch mattress if you are worried about that. But it still blocks the kids from rolling out even with an 8 inch mattress. Two pieces were cracked in shipping. Looks like the box got damaged, and so two pieces on the top were split. I communicated with the company and they quickly settled with a partial refund, and I fixed the splits myself. This is what I asked for. They would have refunded the full amount for a return, but we wanted to keep the bunk bed since its difficult to find a full over full bunkbed. They responded quickly via email and agreed. Bought this bunk bed for an upgrade in my daughters room. It isn’t overwhelmingly bulky like most bunk beds. It is the perfect fit and I love that it is a full over a full! You get a great bed for a good deal. It took a few hours to assemble. It was easy to put together as well. Worth the price!

The instructions could be more clear. Took me and boyfriend around 4 hours to put together.. ridiculous. We’ve put together a metal bunk bed a couple years ago and it took only half that time, maybe 2 hours at most. There were already damage marks on several parts of the wood, and the top bunk is SOOO low! I get Claustrophobic laying on the bottom bunk bc the top bunk is super low! Like my 6 year old and 2 year old are the only one who can sit up in the bottom bunk. They should have made it at least 4/5 inches taller. It does seem sturdy tho and doesn’t make any noise when you are on it. ... show more

The instructions came with detailed illustrations but at first, seemed overwhelming to me. However, I quickly realized it was not more difficult than building a LEGO set and I could do almost all by myself. I only had to ask for help to place the upper bed on top of the other and for a few other steps. The hardware, tools, and parts were all labeled with stickers which made the assembly for me much less complicated. The bunk bed parts are all made of wood and there were no plastic pieces. Since there were so many pieces to assemble, it took me a whole afternoon to finish it. Once done with the assembly, I could then see that the top rails are high enough to secure the mattress and to prevent a sleeper to fall off. I also pushed against the bunk bed to check if it's stable enough for rowdy youngsters and it stood its ground. The white paint is the same hue as shown and doesn't have a tendency to flake off. Also, as it's not very tall, slightly over 5 feet, I can make the upper bed without having to stand on a step stool. And, if necessary, I can dismount the upper bed and place it directly on the floor. ... show more

My girls love these bunk beds! I feel like they are pretty sturdy and I liked the fact you can make them two individual beds. I will say the space on the bottom is very small, not much you can do about that besides the thickness of your mattress. I also read another review and was totally greatful for it, there is a wooden bar that the kids can hit their head on on the bottom and we did what we read in that review which was cut a pool noodle and place it over.
