This is press board so be very careful when putting it together. It was delivered in two boxes. Came with manual directions every thing was marked with an alpha or numbered and pre drilled and they did give some extra parts which helped still took us all day to put together keep in mind we are seniors. It’s a great design and the drawer holds two pillows blanket and sheet sets. Good for what we needed and could afford.

Am so pleased with this bed. Took one person about 8 hours to put it together. It’s sturdy and materials were durable. Nothing flimsy. It doesn’t look like a bed put together from a kit. Would definitely buy again if needed. It doesn’t come with a mattress, but I ordered a 6”. Great for a guest bed, and I still have my office space.!

Very time consuming to assemble
I would’ve given this product a five star, but my time is valuable, and it took a full EIGHT hours to put together. I used power tools rather than the tool in the box, so it would actually take longer if one was to try to tackle this project with only hand tools. That said, the finished product is strong, sturdy, and nice looking. Worth the money, and time, but just know what you’re getting yourself into prior to beginning. There are three boxes of parts and several hundred screws, brackets, etc.

This thing took about three sessions of 2-3 hours to build. Very sturdy product, but not the easiest to build. Everyone is impressed with it and it works well. Has two storage areas. One above where we put tri-fold mattress and the cabinet below is for the sheets and pillow. Great option for infrequent guests.

Not worth the effort
Holes on boards don't even align so they can flush. I had to create new holes. Most boards don't flush correctly. I even had to use tape to hold the panels together because they dont even stick in their slots.

EASY to build, Quality Materials, Great Value!!

If your like me first question I have about buying furniture online is, how long does it take to build? Making sure I timed it, no breaks, just steady pace, working alone: 2 hours and 52 minutes. To expand on this though each step was was super easy with diagrams showing what to do, no broken English or any words period for that matter. A couple times in fact I was thinking to myself, did I miss something that was too easy. The reason I choose this twist on the Murphy bed is because: • 2 Power Outlets and 2 USB Ports • Very Large Storage Drawer • Stylish Look with Neutral Colors • Fair Price Point for Quality of Materials • Compact Size • Completely Hides Bed I am very happy with this purchase and with no swearing putting this together makes it an overall good experience. I would purchase from this company again, given the quick shipping, great quality of materials, and modern look of products. * A helpful note if you make every screw super tight like me, the slides/pulls on the drawers, you do not want to have extra tight or else putting them all together in the last few steps will be difficult if your assembling alone.

Solo Build by a Woman - Honest Review
The product arrived in three boxes on the same day, which I was relieved about since the listing warns they may arrive separately. Shipping was also faster than predicted. Two boxes weighed approximately 105–110 lbs each, and the third was roughly half that. Getting these boxes into my home and maneuvering them by myself was challenging. If you're in a similar situation, plan ahead have a dolly, ask a neighbor, or a strong friend to help you get the boxes inside. I spread the process across three days: Day 1: Received the boxes, brought everything inside, unpacked all pieces, and organized them in my build area. I was pleased with how well everything was protected. A couple of pieces had minor surface scratches, but none were on any visible surface of the finished product. This took about 1 hour. Day 2: Broke down boxes for recycling and bagged Styrofoam for trash ( I packed six large garbage bags). I started the build and spent 8 hours completing steps 1–37, including breaks for lunch and dinner. Day 3: Two additional hours to complete steps 38–50. Total build time: approximately 10 hours with no assistance. The instruction manual is 59 pages and walks you through approximately 62 steps. It is detailed and clear, you just need patience and organization. All the hardware was nicely packed and labelled. I strongly recommend having a drill; it saved me significant time and effort. As the build progresses the furniture gets heavier and harder to maneuver, but with patience, breaks, and hydration I completed it entirely by myself. 100% Honesty, if I had to do it again I would hire someone to build it for me. The finished product is beautiful. The quality looks and feels solid, and I'm very happy with how it fits my space. I purchased a 6" queen tri-fold mattress separately and it fits the storage compartment perfectly. For reference, the interior mattress compartment measures approximately 60¾" wide × 28¼" tall × 21¼" deep. I am happy with this purchase and hope it is long-lasting and that my guests feel comfortable sleeping in it.

⭐️⭐️☆☆☆ (2 out of 5 stars) Beautiful Bed — Extremely Frustrating Assembly Experience Let me start by saying this: once fully assembled, this Murphy bed is absolutely beautiful. The finished product looks great and feels solid. That is the only positive in my experience. If you can afford to have this professionally assembled, I highly recommend that route. Unfortunately, assembling it yourself is an entirely different story. I hold a degree in Construction Technology, and this was by far one of the most irritating builds I’ve ever experienced. The instructions are extremely unclear, poorly organized, and lack logical flow. It genuinely felt like putting together a massive puzzle with countless pieces and screws—many of which look similar but serve different purposes. The instruction manual jumps all over the place. One moment you’re building the base, then suddenly you’re working on drawers, then the back panel, with no clear structural sequence that would make sense to the average person. At one point, I had to completely dismantle part of the build because the instructions did not clearly explain the positioning of the drawer railings. What should have taken maybe an hour or two ended up taking nearly three days, working around full-time jobs, just to get the main structure completed. Even now, I still have finishing touches left—such as installing the doors and hinges—because the experience was that draining. I’ve built plenty of complex furniture and projects over the years, and this one takes the cake in terms of frustration. Final verdict: ✔️ Beautiful finished product ❌ Horrible assembly experience ❌ Poorly written and confusing instructions 10 out of 10 — think again. Unless you’re hiring someone to assemble it, I would not recommend purchasing this bed.
