We got a 12” mattress and it is just about 12” all the way around. It came rolled up and compressed and was easy to open with the letter opener they provided. It decompressed immediately and looks great. I did give it a few days to make sure it was fully decompressed. I would say it has medium firmness. I slept well on it.

Upon opening the box and getting the plastic off the mattress filled quite fast. It wasn't heavy at all, made very well for a spring mattress. The bed is extremely comfortable. Very easy to open and set up. Easily fit my 3 yr old his dad and I on the first night we set it up for him. I slept with him that night and we had the best sleep in a while.

When I received this mattress I thought it was a little hard. After sleeping on it for a few weeks I find it to be firm but comfortable. It works great on my adjustable bed frame. I do not get as hot on this mattress as I did on my old gel foam mattress. Over all I think it is a good buy and well worth the cost.
