  • Arrived one time - worked well
Arrived in great condition! I am looking for a new waterproof camera, unfortunately the only way to touch and interact with them now is to order them online, so I ordered 5 of them to check them out myself. :) This was not the one I chose, but the service was great! Thank you

  • You Can't See The Screen When Wearing Polarized Sunglasses.
Not a fun learning curve, but doable. And it takes 188 pages to print out the manual. A friend had one on a raft trip down the Grand Canyon. My camera died from sand. Figured a waterproof camera would keep out fine sand too next trip. But once it arrived and I learned the basics I took it out hiking and the screen didn't work. I'd turn it on and nothing. Just a black screen. Tried turning it on and off again. Tried taking the battery out and restarting it. Nothing. When I got home and tried to figure out what is "wrong" with it - it worked fine. Figured out the difference was I wasn't wearing polarized glasses indoors like I had been hiking. Turns out I did have pictures after all - the kind you get when you're trying to figure things out. So got the polarized sunglasses and sure enough - you can not see a thing when wearing them. But camera works fine without them. Go figure? ... show more

  • Amazing intro camera for beginners, great waterproof camera for everyone!
I bought this camera for a trip to Maine, and wore it on a padded lanyard the whole time - everywhere. It’s lightweight enough that I didn’t really notice it, and turns on fast enough that with it so handy, I was able to get pictures of birds that had landed nearby before they noticed us and took off again. Bonus points for the separate video and still photo recording buttons too! Great for quickly catching videos of things without needing to go into settings! I’m very much a novice photographer - this is my first camera that doesn’t also make phone calls - but even I was able to take some great photos with this camera. Once I played with some of the settings I was able to use burst mode to catch a perfect crashing wave, flower mode to make a couple shaded wild violets look like a fairy garden, and zoom way in on a sailboat, which kept great detail with the optical zoom! It got splashed a few times with no trouble at all. I didn’t fall in the water so no submersion report thankfully, but I’m sure it’d do fine, the seal on the charging hatch looks pretty rugged. Only “downside” is that many of the settings are in professional camera jargon, so I had to keep looking up what they meant for poor photography novices like me. Bottom line: I’m impressed, and I love it. ... show more

  • Great durable camera
if you drop it a few million times it still works. it is great for our work environment, we load a lot of semi-trucks here and it has been dropped and still works flawlessly! it takes a lot of abuse from the guys that use it but still keeps ticking just fine! battery life is very good on these cameras, so if you are looking for a long-lasting camera that can take abuse, and that still keeps going - This is the perfect camera and the water resistance is very nice it helps when there is rain we don't have to worry about it getting soaked and not working . ... show more

  • Works as described. Disappointed in manual
The camera works as described. Seems to be good for the price point. This camera was packaged for the Asian market. The manual is completely in Chinese & Japanese with no English. I am being told by the reseller that I can access English instructions online. I would have preferred a hard copy.

  • Great for my cruise vacation!
Purchased this camera for a 7 day cruise. We went snorkeling, swimming with dolphins, and horseback riding in the ocean. Camera worked great on shore and under water. I tested the camera in a bowl of water prior to the cruise to ensure it was in fact water proof. It was! It served us well and we have a ton of pictures to prove it! We had an absolute blast and this camera helped with all of that! I also work with 7 horse and I since it is shock resistant, I am going to start taking it to the barn to use to photograph our work with them instead of using my iPhone! If I get bucked, kicked etc, I would rather break this than my phone. ... show more

  • Great camera!
Easy to use underwater, and picture quality is good...but not great. Long lasting battery is a plus.

  • Very rugged and waterproof. Straped to the front of our raft going through the Grand Canyon
Very pleased with the picture quality and ease of use. The camera was attached to a rope on the front of our J-rig and many times I just snapped pictures going down the river without looking through the view finder. Did not take any pictures underwater but the camera was submerged more than once.
