My original septum horseshoe jewelry broke (the ball somehow got loose and fell off and I didn't even notice right away) so I've been in search of replacements for a while. It's been trial and error in terms of sizing (sigh). Most piercers use 16g, 8mm dia jewelry, but I had to learn that the hard way of buying and realizing and searching again. I finally got it and found these. Any random company you come across on Amazon is always chancey as you can't always trust the reviews. I typically look at cost and if there are a lot of issues with the material causing issues or the jewelry falling apart easily. I took a chance, for sure, on these and so far, quite pleased. I got the 8mm set. I love the variety of the balls/points (2mm ends, perfect size for me) though silver is not my fave (I prefer black or gold). I have a small nose so the 8mm fits me and my style very well as 6mm just looks silly and weird to me. For me, 6mm dia jewelry sits too even with the bottom of my columella and I don't like the mere 'hint' of it peeking out of my nose, like I have something weird just hanging out of my nose so... Anyway, I have the gold horseshoe with the balls. The gold is a little too shiny but that'll wear down as I wear it. The ball was tough to get on and off but I'm okay with that as it means once I have the ball screwed in tightly, it won't fall out. It went in easily with no fuss and no issues like breaking out or any kind of irritation. Not to bad. First time I ordered the 8mm and was too small so I ordered the 10mm and gonna be sending the 8 back. They're pretty good for a variety, the speckled ones just look like clear balls just because the balls are so small you can't see the speckles in them. But overall decent! perfect size for me. I love that they're smaller then the standard size and they're easy to get in. getting the balls on are a little tricky and takes some time. I personally had to use jewelry pliers. but other then that no issues. love all the different colors as well.

Honestly it fit way better than I was expecting! The jewelry that my piercer put in was really tiny for my nose so I ordered these in hopes that it was bigger and they were ! 😁 The balls haven’t unscrewed on me so that’s a plus.

the plastic ball crumbled into pieces when i was trying to twist it on. be careful!!! i really wish they didn’t break that easily just because they’re so cute. so if you wanna keep them make sure to use a light hand when twisting it on.
