Bought the jacket for a Northern Minnesota snowmobile weekend. Warmth and comfort was better than expected. First day of riding was 2 degrees below zero and second day was 20 degrees above. Jacket completely broke the wind. I had three layers underneath; wicking shortsleave underlayer, long-sleave mid-layer and fleece layer. Never was chilled on 150+ mile trip both days. In fact, there were times was a bit warm. I'm 5'8", 175 lbs and size Medium fit nice with all the layers underneath and gave me ample room to maneuver driving the snowmobile. Some people maybe would have wanted one size up for a looser fit. I zipped off the hood for the riding. Nice cuffs at the wrist openings kept draft out. Plenty of pockets for phone and gear. Tag says "do not wash" so I guess dry-clean only. For the price you can't go wrong. I'm sure some more expensive jackets have more features. I was happy with the performance, fit, features and price.

This jacket is totally warm and comfortable to wear. I wear it when hiking and walking the dogs. Unfortunately the velcro closure on the hood was improperly placed. The two velcro sides do not stick together, thus defeating the purpose of having a nice cozy hood. Also the color was described as army green which it is not. It is an odd shade of green, which I like. I could have sent it back, but the jacket itself is too cozy to wait for a replacement. I purchased some velcro and will attempt to repair the hood.

I put fits small because usually a 2X in men fits me big but this fits me just right as I tried it on so it’s a little on the small side and the sleeves are shorter than normal men’s, but I purchased this for my 11 year old son and it’s over sized for him, just as I wanted because I like to lay him in a few sweaters. Love this winter coat! We live in the Mid west and 3 years ago had a polar vortex of 40 below zero, I know we will have a bad winter this year and I have been searching everywhere for a nice, warm , good quality winter coat for my son. I tried to put it on him this morning and he said “this jacket is so hot, let’s save it for when it snows” so that’s what I was looking for a very warm , thick lined winter coat. Pockets and hood are a must have, which it has and for the price it’s an amazing deal 10 out of 10
