Stylist/Extension Enthusiast APPROVED Hey guys. First and foremost, I’m going to just share my email that I sent to the seller. This will give you my honest opinion from the start. I will paste it below, then after- I’ll share my updated opinion after sporting these tape ins for several days (haven’t washed them yet). Here was my message to them: Hello! New buyer here! I just received two of packs of your fullshine hair extensions that I ordered yesterday on amazon. I am a licensed cosmetologist and I’ve been keen with extensions since I was about 14 years old (26 now). That’s when I started sewing my own clip in wefts at home for fun. Later I became an avid customer through Luxy hair. Since getting my license a few years back, I’ve been turned on to tape ins (as I struggle to grow out my own hair due to over processing). Over the past year or two I have been ordering from various vendors on amazon and quite honestly- I haven’t been 100% impressed with all aspects. Whether it be the integrity or texture, the durability of the tape, customer service, etc. Before purchasing From you guys, I read through soooo many reviews and debated for a week with color and what not. So far, I am so so so impressed! I Haven’t even installed them yet but judging by the packaging, thorough information and offers provided, and the feeling/looks of the physical hair bundles themselves- I am blown away! I haven’t found an amazon brand of tape ins yet that I believe were close to mainly human hair (as most state in the description) but yours seem super legit by texture and feel. Total 5 stars At this point. And I will surely promote you to my other stylist friends and purchase through you for my clients, If the durability and tape hold up as I’m assuming they will. As a former salon owner, and now solo contracted stylistic I have been on the hunt for the perfect brand to stick with and stay loyal to! Consistency is everything to me. seems like you guys have excellent customer service so I’m quite exited to put these puppies in and see how they look/hold up. Important to note that I do it take full proper care of them after installation and only use salon grade products meant for tape ins. I will keep you posted with my review and opinion but I’ll start now by posting the 5 star review.. as I would like to get another set or two to add on to what I have so far. My hair is fairly thick and I like to wear in full and voluminous. It’s about shoulder length but the length differs from breakage. I ordered a 16” and a 14” because in the color I wanted I was able to receive these overnight. But honestly would be interested in adding maybe slightly more length with an 18” or 20”. Or even more thickness with some shorter ones or same lengths as I ordered. - end email message SO! I would like to add that I plan to add a shadow root to my own hair and then tone the rest of the blonde parts on my hair and the extensions to add an ashier look. But honestly, it isn’t even necessary. These would work perfectly with no extra effort or tweaking. I’ve had them in for a few days and I’m In love so far. None have fallen out (unlike other ones I’ve purchased on amazon). Keep in mind, I am a licensed professional and follow all the proper installation and maintenance care steps. All I gotta say thus far is that the quality is 100% there. And the customer service is on point. Absolutely no shedding and if done properly, a perfect blend. Would like to note that I used two packs- one 14” and one 16”. I could have done less. I have pretty thick hair despite all of my chemical processing history with it. Also note that the bundles I ordered are actually darker at the root. You can’t see it as well in my selfies as my hair covers that part. But I will be updating this with a photo after coloring my hair to match perfectly. First photo is one sandwich (2 tape ins) and second is each piece separately. The following 3 photos are right after installation (I flat iron at a low temp to adhere The tape and blend and smooth my own hair when I install.. then I add some extension care product and braid my hair back; hence the slight wave). 1 month Update: Still very happy but I wanted to share some tips. They did feel super dry and frizzy after washing them but I found some products that make a world of difference. Extensions need special care since they aren't getting any nutrients from your head so here is how to keep them feeling soft and looking good: 1. Only shampoo your scalp 2. Deep condition the extensions every time you wash your hair. I like shea moisture deep conditioner but any decent deep conditioner for damaged hair will work. I say damaged because that seems to work best for these 3. Towel dry with a microfiber towel(I personally, being a cheapo got an extra large car shammy, they come in big packs, no need to get anything luxe) 4. MOST IMPORTANT: This is what changed everything for me...the color wow dream coat is a must! It makes your hair so shiny and helps with frizz. I personally spray it on my hair very liberally and then add the treseme keratin oil and blow dry it. The dream coat is heat activated for you have to blow dry or it won't work. 5. moving them up: I just did this and had great luck with big kizzy tape in remover. It's a two part system so you spray part one to loosen the tape and then part two makes them slide out one the sandwich is opened. I will say go ahead and replace the tape even the first time you install, the tape on these is more like glue. I didn't have any major issues or loss of hair but it would have been easier if I'd used different tape from the start. Hope this helps and happy extensioning! I've had extensions from glam seamless and bellami in the past but I change up my hair a lot and was tired of paying so much so I gave these a try. I'm not sure these are 100% human hair I don't use heat above 300 degrees on them but I will be rebuying these when its time for new ones. The extensions are pretty soft and the color is very good. The root is a warmer brown but the ends are a perfect ashy light brown. I colored my hair(previously had highlights and then a box dye the had faded warm) with loreal ultra ash 7ua and the color match is pretty perfect. I have very broken hair with short pieces in the top from some unfortunate pandemic home hair coming and I was able to blend these well. I got three and it was enough for a bit below my collar bone. ... show more
