I absolutely love Frye footwear, but purchasing has been a little difficult. I originally purchased the dark brown in my usual Frye boot size. The fit was great, but the color wasn't. I returned them and decided to splurge on the banana color, but that's not what I received. Instead I received a torn shipping box and beat up Frye box with the same dark brown color boots that I just sent back. Clearly they were a customer return. Besides the box being in bad shape, the boots and packing were just thrown in. I get accidents happen, but it seems I'm having issues with ordering shoes through Amazon. This isn't the first time I was sent used footwear. I'm on the fence if I'll attempt another purchase or shop elsewhere. 2 stars because the quality and genuine leather are great. ... show more

So very disappointed in this purchase. The boots arrived quickly, however they are flawed. Both inside ankles look dye damaged and then one of the sole linings is cracked. I didn’t event get a chance to wear them and they’re damaged. The leather was soft and smelled nice, but for this price I cannot accept how flawed they are straight out the box.
