  • This is weird....
SO I have used Fruit of the Loom socks for a long time. The ones I normally get are much thicker, but I thought for end of summer/early fall in my sneakers or shoes these would work. Well......they fit just fine, the fabric is fine, but are they too thin? They keep dropping down the back of my heal, and I have tried them in 3 different pairs of shoes. All do the same thing, but none of my other socks from them do this. Not sure what to do with them....as I didn't keep the packaging :/ because I wasn't expecting them not to work. Maybe just for around the house the cooler weather. Again, they FIT perfect, they just don't WORK right once you start walking in them. ... show more

  • Loses elasticity after one wash
Order arrived quickly. The socks were soft and felt good when I put them on. One wash and they lost their elasticity and they slide off and bunch up at my toes while wearing with my boots or sneakers.

  • One more time this brand long sold by WalMart....
You can buy them on Amazon or Walmart, these ones will never disappoint, maybe you won't get the mental image of under armor but the quality is the same or better at one third of the price. They are very confortable and durable, fir perfect and won't lose color wash after wash. Also the spandex won't losen up, buy with confidence. ... show more

  • Decent utility socks at a good price
They’re decent socks at a good price. They fit my size 10 foot perfectly and, most importantly, don’t cramp my toes. They’re not thick or thin. The sole of the sock has a terry cloth weave; the top of the sock has a different weave. They’re soft and comfy. They wash well. I didn’t notice any appreciable shrinkage. They have a high cotton content. It looks like they will pill over time. They can leave black lint all over your foot, particularly if you sweat at all. There’s one thing I don’t like: they are about 3/8th inch too high across the top near the ankle, and about 3/8th inch too low across the ankle in the back. ... show more

  • Not the quality you’d expect from Fruit of the Loom
I purchased these socks for my daughter. I ALWAYS wash clothing prior to anyone wearing it, but after the first GENTLE wash these socks came out looking so worn, so old. A couple of the socks even had large holes in them when they came out of the washing machine; my HE machine that did not do this to anything else! I was disappointed because “Fruit of the Loom” is known to make quality products. I don’t know what happened with these, but they were NOT a quality product. Amazon took them back and refunded me. It was just a big waste of time and packaging. ... show more

  • these are NOT womens size 8-12, they are GIRLS size 8-12
These resemble a shoe size more like womens 4-7 at best, run SUPER small ! I believe they're mislabeled and should say "GIRLS Size 8-12"

  • Loses elasticity after wearing
I bought these socks because they were a high percentage of cotton. They were perfect initially, but stretched out within 1-2 wearings. I wear socks to bed and was awakened by the sock coming off my foot. Too bad. For supposedly having spandex, apparently the socks need a higher percentage of spandex. Back they go. ... show more

  • Sheds
Great socks and they don't slip down, however, they shed. They shed inside my shoe and upon putting a white sock on the next day I found a little black fuzzies. This isn't bother me too much however it isn't ideal.
