The Fruit Ice Divided Serving Tray with lid and handle turned out to be one of the most practical and versatile serving pieces I’ve used for entertaining. Right out of the box, I appreciated the thoughtful design—it has multiple divided sections that make it easy to separate different foods like fruit, veggies, shrimp, cheese, or dips. The clear lid clicks on securely, which is perfect for keeping everything fresh and protected, whether you're serving indoors or outside. One of the best features is the chilled base. You can add ice underneath the tray to keep the food above cool, which is a huge plus for summer gatherings, picnics, or outdoor events where you don’t want things like shrimp or dairy-based dips sitting out too long. The compartments sit above the ice but stay nicely chilled without becoming soggy, and condensation is kept to a minimum. The handle makes it super easy to transport, which came in handy for a recent potluck. It’s lightweight but sturdy enough to carry fully loaded without feeling like it’s going to buckle. The materials are BPA-free plastic, and while not super high-end, everything feels durable and cleans up easily with soap and water. There are a couple of minor downsides to note. The size is fairly generous, which is great for serving but does make it a bit bulky for storage if you're tight on space. Also, while the lid is secure, it’s not airtight—so it’s fine for short-term storage or travel, but not something you’d want to prep days in advance and leave in the fridge expecting a perfect seal. It's also not dishwasher safe, which would have made it a 5 star. Overall, this serving tray is a fantastic solution for keeping party foods cold and organized. This is a really sturdy fruit/vegetable tray, but there is a problem with the seal/gasket on the one that I received. It is pinched in such a way that I can’t even get the lid off. Unfortunately I am not able to get a replacement because this is part of the Amazon vine program. I imagine that if I was able to get the lid off, it would be a really great product. ... show more

CONS: Pricey. WHAT’S IN THE BOX: The serving platter. REVIEW: If you are involved in a church, community group, neighborhood group or even a book club, the odds are high you will have social events. And if you do, something like this serving platter is perfect! What I like about it is the ice chamber on the bottom. So many times, I’ve wanted or needed something like this and now we have it. This was made with fruit in mind, but I could see shrimp cocktail or dips and crackers/veggies. And anything that might need a little cooling while serving or if you will be serving in an hour or so and want to keep the items cool. This is a great serving dish. I love that the lid can be secured shut. Now, it’s not watertight so you can’t really turn the dish on its side or anything like that. But it’s a good way to keep the cool air in. And it locks. The handle feels very strong and secure. It’s thick and operates smooth. Our kitchen is full. We don’t have room for single-purpose items any longer. However, this item we store in the cooler we use for social events. So, it’s not taking up valuable space in our kitchen. I’m pleased with the way this item looks and functions. AMAZON PHOTO/DESCRIPTION ACCURACY: The photos and description are accurate. VALUE/VERDICT: If you attend and bring food to social events, you’ll want something like this.
