Frost Form Kit: This was AMAZING! I followed the directions exactly and it made for a perfect cake! I've used it with Buttercream, Ganache, Swiss Meringue Buttercream and this cake shown is Cool Whip on an ice cream cake!! It fills in beautifully and the frosting thickness is a perfect amount! My first time I spent awhile learning how to do it while reading the instructions but I'm getting quicker and quicker with every use. It has become a total time saver. Stencil: I've used the stencil on the cake and I LOVE how the stencil covers the WHOLE cake at ONCE and I don't have to move or reposition it. I also love how it is all part of the frosting process, again saving time!!! I also used the stencil on a number cake shown in the picture. Highly recommend both the Frost Form kits and the stencils!! They will help you make the most PERFECT looking cakes with very little effort!

I had been looking at this for the past year or two, but did not want to spend so much on shipping being in the US. I was thrilled to see it on Amazon! I’m not a professional baker, but I’ve been baking and decorating cakes for 15 years and I think my skills are intermediate. I can get smooth cakes the old fashioned way with a lazy Susan and a scraper, but I thought this would simplify the process and allow me to make taller takes that are straight. Each time I attempted this process using the Frost Form the end result was a disaster. I tried using their recipes for butter ganache and American butter cream - both failures and a big mess. I tried piping the frosting in, pouring it in. I can get better results using acrylic discs. I read many reviews like mine before purchasing but thought they were just user error. And perhaps my issues are user error. But I think if there are that many user error reviews out there….maybe it’s not 100% user error. Save your money and buy some acrylic discs. It does make stacking cakes very easy, but I can achieve the same result with cake collars for much less money. Also, cleaning the form wrap is a pain!

Let me tell you something, this product is wonderful and works as advertised. I never done a ganache cake and using this for the first time the cake turns out amazing, just like a professional one. I followed the instruction step by step and the result was great. I use the butter ganache which tastes really good. I follow the recipe provided in the instructions an it works great. I weigh the ingredients and obtained the perfect consistency. Im really happy with this product, how easy it is. My suggestion for cutting the cake without the hustle is cut your cake while they are warm (not hot) and the cutter will work perfectly. Im not giving it 5 stars only because the liner is a bit smaller, a taller one will be better, however that doesn’t stop me making a taller cake using the small liner. What I did was layer two finished cake one on top of the other. This product is highly recommended.

Some have commented there wasn't enough space and I agree. First of all, the plastic ring is not sharp enough to cut through your cakes edges. The one on their website offers a stainless steel one and a very thin, flexible base liner that goes on top of the main base liner. The thin flexible base liner assists on removing your cake from the main, sturdy base liner when you are removing the cake from the mold. The kit they are selling on Amazon does not include this. Secondly, the spacing. The reason the spacing might not be enough is the product may have not been made by the specifications thus, yielding a wider cake using the plastic cake cutter. If this is your problem, I suggest using a knife to trim your cake a little smaller. It's either manufactured wrong, or the plastic cutter is too thick. I really wished I would have bought the product directly from the website. If you go to their website, you will see a stainless steel ring. That steel ring has got to be less thick than the plastic ring that is sold in this product on Amazon. I am really disappointed in this version. I may buy a steel ring so that the edges are sharp enough to trim the cake and will be much thinner leaving more room between the product and the cake.
