I just finished reading From Recliner to Revival today. It was an inspiring story of a woman who listened to God’s calling to essentially sell her possessions and travel across the country to Redding, CA to attend BSSM. My favorite part of the story was when Beverly’s mission team used their money to pay her way to China. You could tell what an impact she had on the lives of others through her obedience to God. It’s been an honor to know Beverly Albrecht for the last 10 years! Bev is a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and radiates His Love and Joy to all she encounters. Sarah Wind has captured Bev’s life and faith journey in this inspiring memoir! I could hear Bev’s chuckles as I read each chapter. It is a challenge for all senior citizens to be looking and listening for ways God wants to use us. When we visited Bev in 2021, I took a few pictures of her in her recliner and one landed on the cover of this book!
