I purchased the large/XL originally and they were way too long on me! I am 160lb. and 5'2, but my hips are 44 inches and I have thick thighs. I was afraid the smaller size would not stretch to fit me, regardless of length. The sm/med ended up working out perfect for my nursing graduation and the length was just right. They are very thick, so I was not concerned about my nails shredding through them before the ceremony, nor did they pill or snag. They are also super soft and stretchy. The tights are not sheer at all, so keep that in mind.
