  • Size matters! And an overall great overcoat.
Color: Mo Blue Marlin/Black Pants Size: X-Large
Don't be mistaken by the recommend size chart. I'm a larger guy 240+lbs my waist size is a 42. My first order I went with an XXL, it was freaking huge! Stay with a size down, even at XL there's plenty of room for clothes underneath. The outfit is exactly as advertised, light weight, tough, wind blocking, sorta breathable. The pants as tested on a EBike blocked wind temperatures at 32 degrees, with scrubs underneath for work. Very comfortable, better than my thermal motorcycle pants. My only complaint like the others have stated. Why can't we have built in pockets in any part of these clothes? It would help se much. The coat I've worn in chilli 50 degree weather with a light shirt underneath. It's a great wind breaker when it's kinda breezy outside and need a light jacket. Plus it's flashy to others, I wish there were custom camo or designs we could create! Not tested on rain yet, looking forward to it. I have to be careful with cold and rain on an EBike . On a side note, if you're wareing these riding on any bike. DO NOT get anything large, you want as tight as possible to reduce wind resistance and flapping while riding. Great motorcycle outfits!! ... show more

  • They fit really true to size. Keeps me dry.
Color: Royal Blue Jacket/Black Pants Size: 3X-Large
I am a BIG guy, if I buy 3XLT from JCP, Wally World, or Casual Man places 3XLT is actually baggy on me, HOIWEVER most of the stuff I order on Amazon is NOT true to size no matter what the reviews say. Typically 3XL or 3XLT is actually more like a 2XL or 2XLT which I am not down into (yet but working on it). This came in and fits nicely over me layered with T shirt, sweater, Columbia fleece jacket and then this. Plenty of room to stay warm and dry. (NOT often needed in Texas but I do travel...). I have been through nasty frog strangling rain off along the shore fishing 1/2 mile or more away from camp and shelter. The Frogg Toggs kept me so dry we decided to wait the rain out and keep fishing (unsuccesfully but that is a different story). Long story short, if you are a bigger person, and want good rain gear, get the Frogg Toggs, good quality stuff that does what it is supposed to and actually fits.... ... show more

  • Fit, construction, material: Pros and Cons but overall a good value.
Color: Mossy Oaks Infinity Size: Medium
The fit: I ordered the medium and at 5' 8 1/2" and 172 lbs, it fits as expected. I wanted something that I wouldn't be 'swimming' in and still have enough room for maybe a heavy shirt or sweater and a pair of jeans underneath. I stretch the tape around the waist at my navel to 39" (old man paunch) and find sufficient room to pull the pants up that high, which I need to do to get the length to around a 30. There's still enough stretch left that jeans and a shirt fit ok. This size could easily go from 30 to 34 depending on how high you pull them up. With the adjustable strap in the expansion waist, I'd estimate the waist could go down to a 30, but if your bigger around than a 39 at the point on your waist where you need to wear these you'll probably want to go to a large. Leg opening at the foot is a 18" with the adjustable velcro strap loose so pulling on over boots may or may not work depending on the size of your boot. The jacket is roomy enough that I could wear several layers underneath as long as I didn't tuck everything into the top of the pants. The length of the jacket comes to the middle of my butt and has two bottom adjustments to keep the jacket snug at the bottom. Arm length is just right, long enough to not pull up when you stretch out your arm and the expansion cuffs are snug enough. The hood has three button outside the collar in the back and the lower front edges felcro into slots in the storm collar (really like that) which should perform well riding an ATV in the rain. The hood is not extra large and doesn't extend far enough in front to keep rain off my glasses, but it is large enough to wear a ball cap underneath and includes a draw string for keeping the hood snug. Construction: Stitching and seam tape looks to be well done. Doesn't have any pockets or access to clothing underneath and the jacket doesn't have a two way zipper so if you want to get to anything you'll have to unzip the jacket completely. Material: It's a type of plastic, a bit stiff and a little noisy, but not a deal breaker for hunting (hunting in the rain isn't quiet to begin with). Not just water resistant, water proof, so sitting on something wet doesn't seep through. Since it is a type of plastic, don't put a lot in the 'breathable' part of the description, I'd say it's better than the pure plastic of the cheaper rain gear but it'll still get you sweating if you do much work while wearing. There is no comfort lining so wearing with a short sleeve shirt underneath could become a bit irritating, but not unbearable. Overall: I consider these a good value and hope they last me for more than a few years. ... show more

  • Terrific
Color: Stone Jacket/Black Pants Size: X-Large
Fits great, zipper is strong, I like all the color options you can choose from. Came across this on randsriders so I knew it would be of high quality. Seems pretty durable though I haven’t trekked through the rough yet. Super easy to use and a fair price. Easily protects the wearer from being drenched ... show more

  • Be gentle with it
Color: Black Jacket/Black Pants Size: Large
Make sure to get a size larger than your normal clothing so that sitting does not tear the bottom portion. And be careful when removing it. The material tears quite easily. It is still waterproof so far, after 3 uses. Otherwise quite adequate. I would also add, in my opinion that for the price the material should be a tad more durable. ... show more

  • Don't hesitate - this keeps the rain out for an affordable price.
Color: Stone Jacket/Black Pants Size: X-Large
Affordable price for a fully rain proof suit. I'm not doing any hiking expeditions in these, just going for walks around the block and honestly they work perfect. The Northwest Falls/Winters can be pretty brutal for going outside, so I'm hoping this makes it more enjoyable. First couple walks in the rain and everything has been bone dry under. I got my wife the women's Ultralite edition which is made of a different material but seems to be doing just as well. You might not look like the coolest people walking around in these rain suits, but they work as intended. Quick edit: Few weeks of wear outside in the rain. My only complaint is the hood seems a little funky. It has a hard time staying on. ... show more

  • Perfect Frogg Togg set
Color: Black Jacket/Black Pants Size: XX-Large
I like the Frogg Togg as a practical rain suit. Super lightweight and easily compatible. The only issue I have with this classic set is the lack of pockets. If it's raining, you normally want to keep your hands in a pocket, which you can't do with these. The fit was excellent.
