  • My Favorite
As a teacher in a daycare, I found this book on a shelf.. And I fell in love with it. The kids love it so much, and they listen to it the first few times then they read along with it.. Later they are like me and can retell the story without the book. I switched daycares, and I missed my book. I had forgotten to pack it up with me, so I came on Amazon and bought it again! And it came with the adorable puppet! Even better! My new group of kids ask to read the Frog book almost everyday! ... show more

  • Great for read alouds
I have always loved reading this story to my preschool class. I find it to be more fun to give a voice to each and every character, and man does this book have multiple opportunities for that. A silly story that is a wonderful experience for all ages!

  • It's a frog! In the kitchen sink!
What a delightful little board book! That being said, the original had googly eyes, 3D, which were even more charming. I'm sure the current "holographic" ones are less expensive to manufacture and are even (maybe) more durable. With the original eyes, it's a 5 star.

The day is fast approaching that I will not think positively about anything I order. This book, did NOT have the marble eyes like another I saw at my home town bank that was on a shelf for a charity drive. Being someone that is a glass half full kind of gal, is fast becoming a glass half empty. Will read reviews BEFORE ordering from now on. This is bordering on false advertising. ... show more

  • Interesting book
Great book with good price. I just bought it for my little nephew. He loved the big eyeballs & didn't scare of it. The eyeballs look different in changed position. I also love the story & illustrations of this book.

  • Funny and a great rhythm to the story
I love this story book! I read it to my class of 5 yr olds every yr. So funny and has a great rhythm to it. The children join in saying it with you!

  • How do you milk a frog?
I caught sight of this book while out with my toddler and instantly thought: "what a great idea!" The eyes on the front of the book look up at you as a different character on every page and roll around in comical fashion when you shake the book. Sadly though, I don't think it really reaches its potential. The art style is over-the-top wacky but quite in suiting with the googly eyes. However, every page basically repeats the same chant: Never put a frog in the kitchen sink/father's shoes/brothers pants etc. over and over for page after page. This really undoes any novelty value the eyes give the book. After a couple of reads I didn't want to open it again. Admittedly, my child is still below the recommended age limit for this book. But if I don't want to read it to him when he's four, it doesn't have nearly so much value to us. I would not have bought this book if I'd read it through first. Still, the eyes are great! ... show more

  • Exactly As Described
Gifted & Demoed to a mom to be at her office baby shower and used multiple voices with instructions for her and her husband to do likewise even while in the womb to promote laughter and unity. Glad it came when it did. Great seller!
