Yes, these are chips and are great to have on hand for a snack or to put in lunches, however they were just thrown in the box. There didn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to how many of each flavor one receives - I thought one would receive close to equal amounts of the same flavor, however in the box I received there were only two bags each of Harvest Cheddar Sun Chips and Cool Ranch Doritos. If one isn't fussy about what they receive, you should be happy with this assortment. Personally, I like to have close to equal amounts of each flavor of chips as I ended up with a bunch of Lays Potato Chips, which really aren't my favorite. I wish the packaging department would do a better job or at least update the listing to indicate "we have no control over how many of each flavor of snacks you will receive..." ... show more

I like to try to keep a variety of snacks in the house that my 6 year old son enjoys. I try to switch it up and find new or different snacks frequently so that he doesn’t get bored of the same things over and over. A variety box just like this one is perfect! He doesn’t have chips very often, they are more of a treat. So this big box of 40 will last us a long time! We’ve been snacking on these chips for almost a month now and he still isn’t bored of them! Since there are 6 different kinds of chips, there are plants of options to keep snack time interesting. I also love the size of these bags! They are perfect for kids and adults too. In our house, any time we open a big bag of chips, half of the bag goes to waste because it goes stale before we can eat the entire bag. I was put in charge of purchasing individual chips for about 10+ people. I looked at many different variety packs online and in the grocery store and for some reason they all seemed to be very expensive. And each choice had at least half that I thought probably weren't going to be very popular amongst the group. These were very fresh and the expiration was about two months from the delivery date. Whether it is fair to compare this party box with the ones I've received from my friend from another seller or distributor I'm going to because I think people need to know that what we receive in here just chips there's nothing like the Box from this other server there are so many subsidiaries belonging to Fritos it would have made you it certainly did me they even have they even have crackers and all kinds of cookies, crackers, Slim Jims, all kinds of spicy chips and other kinds of crunchy things. I'm not sure why we only get chips in this one I can picture people just throwing this bag of chips, that bag of chips in, but no real good stuff not a variety anyway. ... show more

You get a plethora of different flavors and they hit the spot just right withOUT going overboard on eating snacks. 2 bags a night is better than grabbing the Family size bag and going to town on it, comes out to about a $1 a day this way so $20 for 40 bags in 20 days, comes out good.

Ordered 2 boxes for our office. All of the regular Fritos and Funyuns smelled and tasted rancid. Expiration dates were in October so they should have been fresh.

Flavor Name: Baked & Popped Mix
I bought two boxes of these. One box was fine. The other box contained no regular baked chips and the bags were crushed. Not sure what happened because the box it came in wasn't crushed. Great for snack sizes though and at a party. We still ate them.
