I used this after my hysterectomy because my tummy was pulling down on my incisions. It really helped and minimized pain almost completely. Fabric is soft, elastic is wide and stretch and click in plastic fastner made it relative easy for me to put it on by myself. It did come with hot and cold compresses which I didn't use. My only criticism is that the mesh fabric on the inside is really rough and uncomfortable. A pity because the fabric under the mesh and on the outside are super soft. I bought it for my emergency c-section and it definitely helped me during recovery. I did not take any opioids and only took Tylenol because I was pumping in the hospital. It was comfortable but I didn’t really feel like it did much. Although my recovery was very easy and I had very little pain, maybe if my recovery was a harder it would have done more for me. Wasn’t really worth the money for me because I didn’t get any use out of it.

I didn't expect to have a C-section and recovery was so hard, but once I got this it made a big difference in help with relief and support of scar. The back heat helps so much and you can't feel the cold much in front but it actually makes a huge difference anyway. I would feel relief from it during and after even though could not feel the cold during. Tried ice in bags before and help during but not once taken off. This does it all. Seemed to help heal better all around and give relief the best! I was afraid of so much touching because it hurt and tried band and they were uncomfortable and did not help, but this was comfortable and did help! ... show more
