  • The Freya sports bra is THAT GOOD.
Size: 34DD Color: Carbon
The bottom line with bras in general, and sports bras especially, is that every person's breasts are different (size, of course, but also shape, spacing, etc.) and I'm probably preaching to the choir here, but it's worth trying several before you find the one that complements your contours. I say "one" because for me, there has been, literally, ONE. I have had the Freya 34DD in Crimson for upwards of 7 months, and it has remained my go-to sports bra list for the entire time, unlike MANY I took home and later got rid of. I'm ordering another because it is THAT GOOD. What earned the Freya top ranks in my closet? Primarily the snug fit, especially between the "girls" - I tend to sweat A. LOT. 99% of the sports bras out there (which are primarily shelf style) smoosh me toward the midline, which quickly makes me a soggy, uncomfortable, hot mess. There is nothing I hate more than a lake forming into between my girls and dripping down my front. Even though the Freya bra can't stop me from sweating, it decreases the amount significantly, and most of all keeps things breathable -- and me WAY more comfortable -- in the process. And as many others have mentioned, the no-bounce factor is key. I do a wide variety of activities in the Freya and it keeps me in line (so to speak) no matter what I'm doing. The fabric is fabulously colorful and so far has held up very well to weekly washings. It's easily the best money I've spent on a sports bra in my life. Highly recommended! ... show more

  • Just What I Needed 36F
Size: 36F Color: Storm
After giving birth in December none of my old bras fit any longer and because of the pandemic I had not been able to go out and find a proper fit. So basically I had no idea why my old bras didn't fit anymore, was it the cup size or my rib cage? After looking up some measuring tips online I realized that like my feet and fingers my rib cage expanded or something so I needed to increase the band size. I ordered this bra in a few different sizes, the 34 was too small so I exchanged it for the 36 which felt slightly tight but I felt if I got a 38 it was be way too large. After deciding to keep the 36 and wearing it around for a few days I knew I made the right choice. After about a day or two it fit perfectly and any tightness I felt was gone, no digging in at all. I feel covered and supported. The racer back option is great however it does feel tighter even after the bra is a few days worn in. I can see using it for workout options but not for long since it does pull. Making the straps longer might help but I have mine extended as far out as they go so that's a no go for me. However if you just need a bra that is comfortable and the racer back is not the main attraction I cannot recommend this bra enough. PS. I measure 36G in US but had to buy a 36F due to Freya's product size suggestion. They were spot on so make sure to look at that before buying. ... show more

  • I found a unicorn! A sports bra that works for large, projected & small-rooted breasts!
Size: 38FF Color: Storm
I did it! I found a unicorn! A sports bra that fits my shape! I do tap dance, so a bra that offers strong support is a necessity, but I also need a bra that comes low enough on my chest that i can wear it with my costumes. I'm a 38 FF in european sizing, which makes bra shopping a challenge from the start. Add in the fact that my breasts are very projected / full on bottom, and have very short roots, it's a nightmare - especially for sports bras. Most sports styles my size feel like they come up to my chin and poke me deep in the armpits, and have underwires 3" taller than my root. Non-wired types dont work for me because I just end up with a smooshed & shapelss sweaty uniboob. Not a good look in sequins on stage. This bra is the closest I have EVER found to giving me everything I want. The underwire is only about 1" taller than my root at the gore, so it should work for most scoop-neck tops (though probably not v-neck....). At the underarms, the underwire length is perfect. I took off one star because for me the underwires are too wide for my small roots - they come too far around my sides and are about 1" past where my breast stops at the side, and the fabric at the edge of the cups does dig into the front of my armpits (though the wires themselves do not) and thats a bit uncormfortable. The cup volume is pefect - no extra space and no bulging anywhere and the gore tacks to my chest exactly where it should. The band is very snug on the loosest hook (not uncomfortable, but after all-day wear it may be...?). So I'm ordering my sister size 40F & have my fingers crossed that it will have a smaller underwire & be absolutely perfect - hoping I can even use it for a t-shirt bra, as anything with molded cups typically doesnt work at all for projected shapes. I'm still keeping this one, as its the best I've ever found, and as it breaks in it should soften a bit and be more comfortable. ... show more

  • Not for women with short torso. The bridge is too wide.
This runs small and has little give in the band. Quality is good, but the bridge, which is typ. Of sports bras, is too wide for short torsos. I admit is very dif. Finding a sports bra for this 38gg woman. In fact it is dif. To find any bra that is comfortable and supportive.
