Good news- they fit perfectly into the hole that carpenter bees thought I needed in the outside of my house. Bad news- they are too long to sit flush no matter how much you pound on them. Moral of the story they will do the job I need done, but look elsewhere if you want them to be flush to the surface like I do. Nice quality. Just remember that these corks from Frey run small. If you need to stopper a bottle measure the opening of the bottle, then go with the next size larger if you order these.

Good quality, no cracks. Usually when I buy corks some are unusable due to natural defects in the cork. These are very nice, clean and smooth.

Very good corks, and worked well for my project. I love the fact that they provided accurate measurements in the product description, as that was critical to my making the purchase. They will not put a stopper in death, however.
