There is a coating peeling off the teeth of the chippers. It's happening to every tooth of the chippers I haven't even used them yet... Not sure it this is acceptable or not but it doesn't seem like it is to me. Would like someone who knows to weigh in, thanks in advance

Feud makes quality stuff. The convenient set up guide that comes with the set makes it easy to configure the right blades and shims to equal the cut width you desire. DO NOT TOSS THE GUIDE. Very accurate, cuts fast and smooth.

I don't need dado blades very often, so I didn't want to spend a lot of money. These were reasonably priced, and they make nice square cornered dados. I've used them twice so far with no problems, time will tell on how long they stay sharp.

Very good. The only complaint I have is that the lettering on the shims is a little hard to read. Thankfully, I have an old pair of calipers and set them in sequence. Of course, I will probably still have to double check before using them in the future since my memory like my eyesight seems to be a little less than optimal....or what they used to be anyways. But the blades do exactly what they need to do. The shims help you make the exact width cut you need to match. It is so much easier to use than an old wobble blade dado that I have had for years. I opted for the 8 inch in spite of the little bit higher cost. I need to make new doors for my tool shed and thought the extra depth would be easier to make with a larger blade. So looking forward to doing the projects that have been adding up on my todo list now that I have a tool like this to make them easier to accomplish ... show more
