I personally don't like that kids are required to wear uniforms for public schools now (unlike when I was a kid and could express myself!). My 10yo daughter mostly wears skirts with polo tops for her uniform. Once I found this dress it was a fame changer! It looks gorgeous on her. If fits in such a way that she looks like a little lady. Show off her slim body type in a cute way! Very feminine, especially compared to most uniforms, even the dresses. I got her a criss cross tie to wear with it, along with knee high socks, and she is just adorable going to school every day now! The fabric is stretch on the body, which is very flattering, and non stretch on the skirt part. High quality and not crazy expensive! Only thing I would change would be making it in other colors! Would love this dress in red, for instance. I would buy 1 in every color if I could. Maybe 2 even. Lol. Also, washes nicely! Have held up very well through a lot of wear and washes.

Do not hesitate because of the very few poor reviews. I bought 3 of these dresses. My daughter is in the 98% in Ht and 99% in WT. Her head measures 99% too. She's 5 yrs old. She wears a size 8 in French Toast uniforms but I did get her a size 10 to grow into which fits long. The material in this dress is so nice and soft. The skirt part stays pleated and doesn't wrinkle. The white part doesn't wrinkle either. The pictures I posted are after washing the uniform. Now it's important to use color guard laundry detergent on any garment that is made with dark and light material. In the past I've ruined a few garments of my own, expensive ones, by not using color guard detergent on them. Also garments like these should be washed by themselves the first time, then you can wash them with like colors using color guard. Again true for any similar garments. If you don't use color guard detergent then the white portion will be slightly dyed by the dark material. It's always best to air dry these types of garment too, to prevent wrinkles in the white portion of the material or just remove it from the dryer while it's still warm and shake it out. Again I've had to do this with my own clothes because I've ruined a few expensive pieces in the past. I reccomend cheer with color guard. This dress goes on easily and off easily and as you can see from the pictures it stays nice after washing it too. I reccomend using cheer with color guard on all dark colors because it will prevent fading too. Or any color guard detergent. I hope this helps. Wash in warm water too never hot. Update August 8th 2021 After multiple washes this dress still looks great. I'm including a new picture of the dress right out of the dryer.

It’s so cute!! I took a star off bc of the fit. Seems like it runs small. I ordered the biggest size for my 9 year old and it was short from the get go. But the outfits have shrunk a lot from being washed and dried. I just bought these in January or February so I was hoping to get a little more use out of them. They seem like they are made from good quality material, the color is a nice navy perfect for school uniforms, they aren’t too thick- my girls wear them here in Florida and it gets HOT, and they are just adorable. I haven’t had an issue with the white part fading or the navy part bleeding into it.

My Princess looks so sophisticated like a little lady each morning she attends kindergarten in her uniform dress. Along with her white stockings and patan leather shoes carrying her book bag. She looks like she is destine for college lol. I like that this outfit is easy to wash and iron. the pleats kinda stay in the dress and doesn't wash out so ironing is not difficult. I like that the white top stays attached and the uniform always looks like a nice fit. The only improvements I can suggest for this uniform is that they make a uniform with a navy blue dress and a shy blue or baby blue top oppose to a white top. Also, if they had a combination dress size that kinda grows with a child. For example a style that was a size 7-10. Oppose to either purchasing a size 7, then a size 8 etc.., But Perhaps everyones kids row at different rates. I like for my daughter's uniform to always look neat and organized so I purchase her currant size. however she out grows it in 3-4 months LOL. But seriously, I think this is a beautiful uniform, and a great price.

My daughter loves wearing this dress for school. We got size 5 for my 4yo. It's a bit tight getting it over her head, but it fits great elsewhere and goes down to her knees. The best part, is that I haven't had to iron it in the last couple weeks we've had it. It comes out the dryer wrinkle free and pleated! All her other uniform I have to iron straight out the dryer.

Admittedly I didn’t read the description well enough and didn’t realize the shirt and dress are attached (and it’s not a full shirt). It’s cute enough but the inside seams make my daughter itchy. Next time I’ll buy the dress and shirt separately.
