I have a lot of fine hair that I wear an inch or two longer than my shoulders. My hair has become courser as it is turning gray and often looks wild, even when pulled back in a scrunchie. These hair forks were bought in an attempt to stop looking like I haven't combed my hair in a month. They are large and light enough to hold it in place once I figured out the correct way to twist it up. The plastic they are made out of is slightly flexible, which is good when trying to learn how to wear them. They also came in a cute little box. I would recommend.

These pins are very pretty but I haven’t been successful in securing my hair in a messy bun. I’m not sure if it is because I have very thick wavy hair or if I just have just not mastered them. From what I’ve read there is a learning curve. When I try to secure them I can feel them twist a little from the weight of my hair so not sure how sturdy they are. I will continue to try to secure them in my hair!

I saw these on the Machete website for about $60. I immediately went to Amazon and saw these which were almost the same for the fraction of the price! They are just as nice and do the job. I live tortoise on everything. Very durable.

I have very thick wavy/curly medium length hair and these work pretty well for me, but I wish they were a bit longer. One is just barely able to hold my hair in a bun, but I put both in for some added security. They do have a tendency to slide out a little, but they haven't fallen out. They are really pretty though and I will be using them.
