I was looking for something to hold the clothes I wear almost everyday, my scrubs. That and some other things to make more room in my closets. Opening and closing my closet doors so frequently was just annoying. What I wanted; something sturdy, not too expensive, size and looks. The assembly was pretty simple but you really do need the pdf, what comes with it isn't very useful. I assembled it by myself but would strongly recommend another person if possible. This is sturdier than the cheaper "wood" shelf type units (which I will never buy again) At $176 my opinion is that it's a fair price, I would say great but fair. It's a good size for what I wanted it for and what I'll be using it for. Generally speaking it is an attractive piece with one caveat. Even though it is very well packaged some of the metal parts were scratched and you could see the silvery aluminium under the black coating. Unfortunately there is no touch up pen included which would have been really nice. The bolts and parts are in a zip lock bag which is awesome. There's nothing more frustrating than trying to get the parts out of the plastic clam shell type packaging. If you've ever been cut by one you'll know what I'm talking about. Bottom line is it did meet my expectations and if they ever go on sale I may purchase another. Heck if they ever get around $100 I'd buy 4 and give 3 as gifts. this design in my opinion is superior to the "wood" or wire shelving units that will probably come up on your searches.

I took away a star because it was a little difficult to put together. I ended up having to take a few pieces apart to put a few pieces together. There are entirely too many pieces, for the instructions not to be clear. It took me maybe an hour or so to put together. After it was complete, it’s very study, heavy, and beautiful to say the least, with lots of storage space to work with. I could stand on this and it not break.

What I disliked is the shelving could have been a little wider. It is exactly 1ft. So a 1ft wide storage boxes cannot slide easily in and out. The storage box will have to be pulled out from the right hand side or the side where the cloths are hanged which can be a little awkward. . This means I will have to buy a storage box a little smaller than 1ft so that it can slide out easily from the front. I had to drag the closet holder by myself which was easily done but one of the small rubber feet twisted. So I will order that part to replace it. But it looks beautiful without the storage boxes. Dont really need storage boxes. I can put them on top. Amazed at how much it holds. I love it!!!. Just assembled it yesterday.
