Good fishing boots, good hiking boots. Very comfortable. Waterproof is a stretch but water resistance is pretty solid. Most of the boot is waterproof. I used them slightly broken in on a 3 day backpacking trip through very rough back country in the PNW. Tons of grip. They held up great so far.

Updated 1 week later.. these boots are terrible. I truly regret my purchase and I am disappointed that Amazon is allowing these people to advertise these Boots as waterproof. Be assured they are absolutely not waterproof! And also one week into wearing these they have become unwearable. I bought on the higher end of my size and still these boots are digging in to my two outer toes on each side. They are painful to wear and will have to throw them away and buy something else. A total waste of money! I wish I could get a refund on these. Do not believe the hype on the fake five star reviews. Look at the one and two star reviews and you will get a true review of what these boots are. and why was my review turned into 3 stars?????? First impression... Purchased size 11 which is on the larger size for me. But the hard forward toe covering of the boot diggs into the sides of my toes even though there is plenty of length. Also traction is very poor. I do lawn service all day and I was slipping in places I never had issues before. Don't think I will reorder these. Probably ok for short occasional work, but not good for all day wear in inclimate weather.
