It was hard to get on until I realized I had to loosen the laces in the back first, then no problem. Makes my girls look amazing and I got it for an upcoming photo shoot that is Rococo themed. I'm a 35" hip 27" waist and 35" bust and got a small. Fits perfect with little room to spare. Bought this to wear with part of my Halloween costume next month. The corset is very sturdy and after the first few times it's easy to put on yourself. Make sure you measure yourself because it doesn't run like normal clothing. I'm 200lbs and a 28C and I typically wear an XL but I had to order a 4x in this and it fits well! Fits a lot smaller than expected based on the size chart. The front closures are ridiculously impossible to get lined up to close. One middle one popped off already while attempting to try the thing on. I'll still keep it cause it's for a Halloween costume and barely noticeable but this is definitely a wear once quality. For reference im 38-32 and the back shows about 4 inches of skin completely across and all the way down. There's an additional panel underneath that's supposed to cover skin if you have to go bigger but the second it goes on the thing seems to instantly fold in the wrong direction.... maybe with help this would work better but putting it on by myself proved very challenging. ... show more

This piece is lovely! As stated in other reviews it is really well built. It does fit a bit small, but it's a corset! It has lacing in the back to let out, which works wonderfully. NOTE: The back leasing has a panel that can flip over. So either the lacing can show your skin through it, or there can be a flap of fabric. This extra fabric is not very big, just about 6 inches. If you want the fabric to cover over then I highly recommend getting a slightly larger size than you think you need. If you want your skin to show through, get the size you think you should. As also stated another review the first time you put it on you'll need some extra time. The fasteners in the front are a bit tricky. And when I say 'a bit' I mean rather, since there is a bone in peace directly under them so no give while you're trying to get them fastened. When one goes on if feels like two more come back off again. But it just takes a time or two to get used to. But, leave yourself room with the lacing in the back, do the fasteners in the front, then pull the back tight. Works like a charm. I highly recommend this corset! It is absolutely beautiful. The front fasteners are a bit industrial if you're looking for a costume/vintage piece, but this is beautifully made. (So great for cosplay/steam punk, inaccurate for historical, wonderful for fantasy!) If I am looking for other corsets I will absolutely look at this groups other selection. NOTE- I was originally sent the wrong piece. And by wrong piece I mean skirt type thing that had absolutely nothing to do with corsets, not like they sent me the wrong course it. The exchange was Apsley no problem, I just wanted to note that this did happen so leave yourself a bit of time if ordering. ENJOY!!!! ... show more

I absolutely love this skirt/corset combo. I wanted something that I could wear on my cruise when we port in Nassau. I wanted to look like badA** steampunky pirate and with my accessories its beyond amazing. Just know(for me anyway) trying to find a size was an absolute nightmare. I ended up getting the 6X and thats not even close to the size I normally wear. I am a 3X max. I wasnt expecting no stretch at all when it comes to this corset. All my corset have some kind of extra room by the fact that they stretch. THERE IS NONE IN THIS CORSET. After loosening the ties in the back enough that I could actually button the corset it fit great. The only problem is, while I am very well endowed up top I am not enough to fill the top of the 6X corset. However after finally finding one that actually fit, I'm not complaining. By tightening it up at the top some more, with help, I was able to make it work. It's super cute. Super comfortable. I have no complaints about the skirt at all. The buttons on the corset are a little annoying to try and close but again, not something that completely turned me away. So if you're a bigger women just take into account that you will need way more then just uping it one size. The corset has no stretch or extra give at all. And the buttons are a little tedious to close up the corset. ... show more

OK I selected FIT AS EXPECTED because I read the reviews. By the sizing chart I "should" wear an XL. Don't do that! If I had ordered that I wouldn't have been able to cinch it at all. However by just barely losing the satin ribbon on back, the size large that I did order fits amazing! I saw a few people say the swapped the satin ribbon for cording, to be honest, I don't see any reason too. I had a friend cinch the heck out of it, and had NO problems with it at all. I wear a U.S. 8-10/ 38C bra for reference. The second photo is all that I loosened it! ... show more
