I absolutely adored these shoes and the style but they fell apart less than 6 months after purchasing and after less than 10 wears. Really unfortunate given the brand loyalty I have towards Franco Sarto. I would not purchase these again.

I love the look and the quality of the leather. I also loved the comfort of the insole. The only problem was the ankle strap is attached to the heel which is attached to the platform and there is no give to the strap when you walk. If there was some good quality elastic under the buckle it would allow for give of the ankle strap when walking. I love this shoe and was sad to return it only because the ankle strap had no give when walking! I almost decided to keep it and see if a shoe repair shop could add elastic under the buckle but didn’t want the added cost. ... show more

Ordered half size up as suggested it worked well. Fit my feet great - I have average width toe box/feet bordering wide by the end of the day. Strap across toes felt comfortable. Ankle strap fastens with Velcro, which I missed in the description. Velcro is easier to get ankle straps on/off, but will wear down with time/dirt. And it's not the look I am going for. The ankle strap is very thick and it presses on my ankle while I walked around my apartment. The shoe was also a little clunky for me while walking, but this shoe would be comfortable if you're just standing in one place all day. I'm not sure if I could stand walking more than a few blocks straight in these, so returning. ... show more
