I’m thrilled with this frame. It’s exactly as described, and it doesn’t look cheap considering it’s a reasonable price point for a frame. I have an 8x12 print that I needed a frame for with matting and this fits almost perfectly with no weird overlaps. It’s assembled and ready to go (save the hanging hardware) but it has hooks installed vertically and horizontally so it’s very easy to insert the print and hang. It also has adjustable legs to remove the backing - no screwdriver needed. The silver is slightly brushed and works nicely in the space I hung it in. Would recommend this product. ... show more

I bought this frame for an art print. It was delivered early, and it was clear the company took care to package the frame well. It was double-boxed, and the frame itself was wrapped and had plastic corners to support and protect it during shipping. I inspected the whole thing, and there was no scratches or chips. Very satisfied with it. The latches on the back fit well and weren't hard to open at all, and putting the art in the frame was a very quick and easy process. There's hardware to hang the frame on that back board itself, but it also came with a pack of additional hardware you could install to hang it differently. There were no issues with the plastic pane, no scuff or marks. I'd recommend a quick wipe-down of both sides just to get out any dust that may be in there before putting the picture in. Do note that the gold frame is a pale/cooler gold as opposed to warm yellow gold. It's perfect for what I'm framing, but I know that's not what everyone is looking for, so keep that in mind. Overall, very satisfied with this frame. It's a perfect fit, visually elegant, and good quality for a rather reasonable price. ... show more

I've never been much of a metal frame gal, but really like this frame. I actually just bought another one in another size. The mat is a bit thicker than I'd prefer, but I was looking for a unique measurement and this still does the trick. Sturdy and good quality. The spring latches on the back are great and easy to use. Allows for a lot of flexibility if you are framing something thicker than a paper print. The included hooks are a bit odd, but they include a wire or I personally just leveraged to lip of the frame to rest on the nails and works great. ... show more

The frame looks great, the gold color is nice, and it feels like it's good quality. The front is glass, not plastic. As a renter, though, I can't put any holes in my walls and am relying on either Command strips or small clear Command hooks to put up my frames. It is not possible to use command strips with this frame because the metal rim of the frame is too thin for strips, and since it's at least 3/4 inches away from the backing, strips won't work there either--they would not touch the wall if you put them on the back. Since the frame is metal and glass, it is HEAVY for its size--too heavy for the little hooks. The bottom line is, if you can't put a nail hole in your wall, you should consider another option or have a plan for putting this up. ... show more

I am a photographer and am planning to take photos for my fiancé's family soon. Living in Colombia I have had a hard time finding good frames with a mat. After doing some searching here on Amazon I found these frames. I read a lot of good reviews so I bought two of them. They shipped from the U.S.A. to me and arrive at my door in about a week and a half. Which is about how long it takes for me to receive things on Amazon. Quicker than anywhere else from overseas. I did find it odd they shipped them separately and they arrived a day apart, but as long as they arrived is what is important to me. I chose the aluminum black frames. They look very nice and well built. Each corner was intact like it should. The glass is very clean to. I was worried the glass may break in route, but they packaged the frames very well. Overall I'm extremely happy with my frames and will buy more in the future from here. ... show more
