I loved the sea turtle print, so I ordered this kit immediately. There are many teeny tiny spots that are really hard to get paint onto without getting it into other numbered spots, so finishing the painting has been very slow going, plus I am overly critical of my artwork, so that makes it hard too. If you happen to be like me, this kit may not be for you! Otherwise, the paint is pretty good, it covers the numbers, though sometimes you need a little extra to cover with lighter colors. The worst part of this kit is the easel! They gave 4 very cheap pieces of wood, that also have odd cutouts/divots that don’t seem to do anything. It comes with a little screwdriver, but the holes on the bottom aren’t all the way through the wood, so you end up having to hand screw it through the wood, very annoying. Overall nice kit, but I wouldn’t bother with the easel next time. ... show more

I'm tired of getting folded canvas PBN sets, and this was a nice relief. It comes already mounted, so there's no extra expense or work in that. The canvas is a bit like plastic-coated, so I used clear gesso to give it a little more "grip" for the paint. So far it's working well. Small project, but it's turning out really cute. ... show more

I had so much fun painting this turtle! I thought the painting was very detailed and the colors were gorgeous. The easel that was included with this kit was the perfect size for this. The painting turned out beautiful and I can't wait for my son to open it on Christmas!!
