This case is hands down one of the best cases I've worked with. Its nice to see case designers come up with designs that aren't so "gamer" and make something that is more along the lines of a piece of furniture. Working in the case itself is easy. Its very spacious and easy to disassemble and get to where you need to. Wire Management is easy to do and keep wires well organized. If you are going to do a front mounted radiator you do need to be mindful of your graphics card size. With a front radiator you can get a 380mm graphics card at most, and that's going to be a tight fit. The case is easy to keep clean, stays cool, and is stays surprisingly quite for the mesh front and top. I did go with a glass side, figuring that would keep noise down since I put the computer in my living room.

Great, easy to build in case with plenty of cable management. The wood is a nice touch, as is the extra fan space in lieu of a glass panel. The thumb screws for the panels are horrible, though.

I don't write many reviews, but I had to come on here to express just how amazing this case is. Not having to deal with tempered glass is a HUGE plus for me, it's a trend I have very much disliked as I tend to transport my desktop PC around. Aside from that major, major factor for me--this case is just so simple to work with. I was upgrading my GPU and realized that I needed to increase the wattage on my PSU along with it--in the past, undoing power cables and swapping out a PSU would have been a nightmare--NOT with this case. There's plenty of room to be able to perform this task without disassembling anything else. My radiator + fans take up a decent amount of space on the top of the case, but that didn't even block the CPU power connectors from coming out with minimal effort. There's also plenty of room on each side of the case so that cable management in general is an extremely easy task. The cherry on top of all of this is that the case itself looks and feels premium--and I love the design. The wood trim on the front and the gold buttons/connectors give it a very high-end look and it fits my aesthetic perfectly. Cannot recommend this case enough!

I am very happy with my Fractal North case. It looks great, has excellent ventilation, and a lot of provisions for fans. The case is on the small side for ATX boards, which was a positive for me, but if you want more build room I recommend the Fractal North XL instead. I bought the mesh side panel as opposed to the tempered glass version. The mesh panel version comes with provisions for side mount fans which really helps with GPU cooling. That being said, the side fan bracket barely cleared my CPU cooler so the usefulness of the side fans will depend on the size of your GPU and CPU cooler. It is a tight case. Cable management is generally good but the drive bays are basically useless. The power cables occupy the same space as one of the drives. That is not a problem for me since I only have a board mounted nvme but if you use a HDD for extra storage it could be an issue. It comes with two front mounted 140mm fans. These fans are okay, but they're nothing special. They are reasonably quiet and descent build quality but they are by no means high end / premium. If you want additional fans I would recommend a good third party brand as opposed to more of what the case comes with. I learned this the hard way. The case can fit two 140mm fans in the top of the case, however, one of the fans will interfere with your mobo's 8-pin power connector. You can fit both fans but you have to put a fair amount of stress on your power cables to do it.

I absolutely LOVE this case design! The throwback to wood paneling on our electronics is appreciated. I find it adds this touch of nature and elegance to your space. Just behind the paneling is the dust filter, which is pretty great, I find myself cleaning it every week or two. It's super easy to slide the front panel out and snap off the filter. Not bad metal thickness either, it seems like a pretty solid case. It barely fits in my current desk setup, make sure you measure correctly. The dimensions are 8.5"w 18.5"h 17.5"l give or take, and don't forget to leave some clearance for air flow. :) The cable management was good for me with no issues and everything seems to be staying cool so far. I really need to figure out how to take care of the wood paneling because I'm just past 6 months of ownership and I'm seeing what appears to be something goin' on with it, almost just looks a little too dry, maybe needs some polish or oil. I've never cleaned the wood yet.

This case is absolutely gorgeous. The walnut front is beautiful, the brass detailing is amazing, and it’s a pleasure to build in given its size. I recommend the XL over the standard version given the ever increasing size of GPU’s. Cable management is also a breeze allowing for clean runs and an almost cable less front end. Couple knocks against it: The thumbs screws are not good, the threading is pretty horrid on most of them requiring a screwdriver to unscrew them. I went ahead and replaced them with higher quality screws. The pre installed fans are a tad loud when you put load on them. Airflow is great and they perform well stock but those sensitive to sound might find it annoying. Best to tweak bios settings to find the best fan curve for you or replace with Noctua fans. Otherwise this case is amazing and looks great in almost any setting. If you want a case that is sleek, modern, understated but high quality, then this is the case for you.
