  • Fixed recliner easily
The spring on our 25-year-old recliner broke. When I turned the chair over, I saw that the spring was broken. Bought this replacement, easy to install, and now the recliner chair works again.

  • It worked exactly as described and was relatively easy to install
It worked exactly as described and was relatively easy to install. No tools were needed. You just had to lie under the out-stretched leg support and hook the spring in to the proper holes. The springs were delivered when promised and were shipped in a padded plastic envelope/bag.

  • Perfect Fit
This spring was the perfect fit for our couch. We had contacted the manufacturer, but they don't carry the spring to fix the footstool. I was grateful to find it on Amazon!

It was next to impossible to find springs like these. This is something you can't ruin to the store to buy them. We were thrilled to be able to order them from Amazon because we know their shipping is very fast. These springs fixed our recliner problem and what a difference it has made. Perfect replacements for 2 (30 coil) springs that broke on one side of an old Berkline Reclining Sofa. They were easily attached by just manually raising the foot-rest and reaching underneath. There was no need for tools or moving of the sofa. Good as new.

  • Exact replacement spring for Berline reclining loveseat
This spring was an exact replacement for a Berkline reclining loveseat I have from the early 2000's. The recliner on one of the two seats was much harder to open and extend the footrest than the other side. The pushbutton on that side required a lot of extra force to press it get it to recline. So looked underneath and found the original spring had sheared on one end, so that side of the recliner had only one of its two springs intact, explaining why it was more difficult to recline. I measured the broken one's length and found this item on Amazon. I replaced it and now it works great. My main complaint is that this was very expensive for a simple spring. But if you want to fix your furniture, and have difficulty finding it elsewhere then it may be worthwhile for you to purchase it. ... show more

  • Exactly what I needed, but no installation map
These are the springs I needed. But the chair foot rest assembly has a LOT of holes. Took me a while to figure out which ones to connect. A photo or sketch would be nice.
