I needed some liquid fertilizers and wanted to try these this year as I have heard positive things about the brand, so far have been pleased with the results, plants growing a little quicker and perkier after they looked a little stunted.     • 5 star nutrients and results. BAD directions and suggested feeding schedule.Use WAY WAY less to start.
5 stars for quality and results from all of fox farm nutes. 2 stars for their ridiculous feeding schedule and suggested amounts to use. Fortunately for me I know to start with less and titrate up to assess plant response. I am certin the recommended amounts wouldve have killed my plants.I started out at 1/5th strength of these 3 and 1/8th strength of the fox farm, FoxFarm Open Sesame + Cha Ching + Beastie Bloomz Plant Nutrients Fertilizer , beastie blooms, and cha-ching. I strongly recommend those as well. Even at that low low strength my plants showed some nutrient burn, although it was only the very tips of the leaves. I know it was the fox farm nutes since i use Premier Horticulture 3.8-CF Pro Mix HP High Porosity with Mycorise which has no nutrients at all. It's only peat, perlite, and Mycorrhizae, a beneficial endomycorrhizal fungus that increases resistance to stresses. I also use FoxFarm Bushdoctor Microbe Brew, 1 pt One good thing is these nutes also will lower tap water with a PH of 8-9 almost down to the perfect 6.5. However I still recommend checking the PH that is best for your specific plants and using PH Up or Down to get it there. Otherwise your plants may not be able to use the nutes at all. I recommend this PH meter. No complicated directions for calibration. Just use solution and screwdriver. Hydroponic Nutrient pH Value Tester, Digital pH Meter with 2 Pack of Calibration Solution Mixture Included . However I also recomend double checking using the General Hydroponics PH Test Indicator, 8-Ounce method.I have had a PH meter be so off that it read 6.4 when it was really closer to 4 or 5. Overall I strongly recommend these fox farm nutes as well as the others mentioned ... show more

these nutrient lines are all essentially the same, Don't listen to these loons in the reviews, they burnt their plants because they used too much too early. They didn't see results because they didn't use enough. Are there better mixes out there? Probably. But at a base level it's literally just nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorous, which is what your plants eat. My only complaint is the same complaint I have with all nutrient lines, the schedule they give you is for coco or something with no nutrients in it because they want you to run out and buy more. If you use the fox farm soil with this stuff and transplant regularly you only need to feed like 5-6 times max ... show more

    • Amazing growth.
I used this to grow several seasons of herbs and it never let me down. I always got a bountiful harvest. My only problem with this stuff is that it smells not so great so it needs flushed every once in awhile.
