- This extension kit includes the X-axis extended profiles, upgraded T-slot Hybrid spoilboard, base frame and the parts that need to be replaced. (XE-PRO CNC machine is NOT included)
- The 8040-extension kit is only for FoxAlien XE-PRO CNC Engraving machine upgrade, which can extend the working area to 31.49" x 15.75" (800mm x 400mm, X-Y).
- The 8040 extension kit uses HG-15 linear rails and 16mm ball screws on X axis to maintain stability and high accuracy during carviing and engraving.
- With this upgrade kit, X-axis travel will be larger. This make it possible for the CNC router machine work with large size projects, such as guitars, billboards and etc.
- The upgraded hybrid spoilboard is compatible with different type clamps, such as FoxAlien bench vise (B08C26KVD3) and t-track hold-down clamps (B097ZNDM3R).
- The base frame structure is fortified with aluminum profiles, ensuring the spoilboard remains stable for cutting and engraving.

The nightmare is finally over and I lost! The machine worked for 60 days, since: one component after another has failed back to back and/or in perfect sequence to stay inoperable now for almost 90 days. FoxAlien ignored my refund requests time after time and kept sending replacement parts that solved nothing and/or failed themselves. Today they have finally agreed to a partial refund (with unethical restrictions/stipulations) that leaves me with components I can’t use AND I have to box the machine up and PAY to ship it back to China which will cost hundreds, what a deal. Learning their tactics through approx. a dozen emails, over three months, there isn’t much doubt that they will get the machine back and find a way out of the refund. Please pass on to everyone so they don’t make the same mistake as me. This machine is a dumpster fire and FoxAlien will leave you stuck in the middle of it. My fault for trusting ‘reviews’ and those unethical individuals who get paid to plug junk products.

The new bed and linear top rail make a nice difference! Larger format smooth operation for larger jobs and group production work! Would be nice to have the two side Linear rails included for just a bit more. Then you do not have to buy them separate. However I was able to use it to do some beautiful Laser work and made the Turners cube project! Support I have found to be good. Some times takes a day because of time change. However the products come packaged better than almost anything I have seen and instructions complete.

I have all the wires ran and the drag chains connected. The top drag chain has an "X-Limit" connector, but there is nothing below to hook into that says "X-Limit". I've had pure hell trying to get this machine to move and home (Have went step by step as per instructions). I've tried to research everything on how to fix or where the answer to the problem may be but haven't found anything and now, I'm tired of messing with this thing after several days. Gigantic paper weight and waste of money, look for another CNC imo.
