My go-to shorts for MTB. Chamois/liner is included and good quality. Wear size M Also important the side pockets (phone , snack) are placed well (side of leg) to not interfere with pedaling.

    • I want to love them
I’ve gone on a few rides so far to give them a fighting chance. However, the way they tighten and secure are very frustrating. One button is not enough, especially since they don’t have a strap to since down. They do allow some adjustment. When you put them on, they feel fantastic. However, any attempt to clear features on the trail, the button comes undone. My other pair of fox shorts have two buttons, and I have no issues. Like I said, I love the way they feel. They just aren’t practical. I had to stop close to 15 times on an hour ride. I tried keeping them as loose as possible so there wasn’t as much pressure, but that didn’t help. UPDATE ** About 10 rides in, the liner that came with the shorts was falling apart. Same thing happened to my last pair of Fox liners. I had to sew them myself to keep the damage from spreading. However, my issues with only having one button, has stopped; for the most part. I went on the same ride from my first review. The button didn’t come undone once. They are growing on me, but probably not enough to buy again. Especially with how poor quality the liners are. ... show more

Really wanted to like this product but just couldn't. I'm 5'9 and 185 lb. I typically wear a medium top and 34-in waist shorts or pants. I have found that Fox tends to make items that are for much taller and leaner individuals. These shorts are made of a good fabric and should certainly be able to withstand a crash, but even at 34 in at the waist they were very tight. I also found them to be a little bit looser in the legs than I like for riding. Finally I understand that mountain bike shorts need to set up a little bit higher on your back so that no one thinks you're a professional plumber and yet these were very high rise. So overall I think I liked the fabric and definitely love the brand, but I just could not deal with the bagginess, the high-rise rear, and the tight waist. If I went up to a 36 I think they would be down beneath my knees and up to the middle part of my back. I just can't recommend these for anybody who isn't tall and lean. ... show more
