I bought this gift for my girlfriend who is always in the kitchen. She was complaining that her feet were getting sore from standing in a certain spot, so I decided to buy this mat which, which was a perfect size and color for our kitchen area. She loved how much padding there was - it felt like one of those mats cashiers stand at for long period of time. Its also non slip, so it never moved around annoyingly unlike another one I bought at a retail store. The waterproof aspect holds true - water definitely wasn't soaking in when water from the sink was spilled on it. I recommend leaving it out for a while after unrolling it to make it flat (like overnight) from packaging.

I bought these because I do like to cook and do a lot of canning in my kitchen. They are comfortable to stand on and help with fatigue of being on me feet and legs. When walking on them they do leave a footprint pattern on them but it disappears relatively quick. They are easy to clean if you spill something on them and the anti-slip work good. After unwrapping them they had a slight curl to them and they did have a strong new plastic/synthetic smell. I left mine rolled out in are area that was not the main living area to allow them to uncurl and let the smell dissipate overnight and it helped. I do wish they were slightly wider.

This mat set is great! The long mat is longer than most mat sets. It is extremely soft with a thick memory foam-like material. It is nice to stand on and makes kitchen chores easier to do. The color is not spot on as it is brighter on the ads than it actually is. But it's still a nice color overall. It didn't take long for the mats to settle straight after unwrapping. I am very pleased with this set.

Very squishy, comfortable to stand on, I just wish it was a little bit wider! I love that it is long enough to go almost the length of my counter so I have a wider range of space to work on without having to have another mat or move it around. It does hold the indention from standing on it, as you can see in my photo my dog ran across the mat and it held her paw prints for a brief time. :)
