I returned this product and don't recommend it. I'm a fan of FourSigmatic's other products, but when I used this, it did not dissolve or mix into my coffee, despite the fact that I blended it in my Vitamix. It has a strong vegetal taste that I found very unpleasant, and it left my coffee gritty, with thick clots of it floating around in the liquid. I have been plant based for over 3 years and FINALLY found a protein powder that I genuinely like. My prerogative has always been health > taste for protein powders, so when my clients asked me what plant based protein to get, I would always come back with “I use X brand for the ingredients, but don’t hate me for the taste” But I am SO HAPPY got to taste test a new protein with (excuse my nerding-out nutrition talk) - 5 pure organic vegan proteins - a balanced amino acid profile - a high dose of 7 mushrooms and adaptogens - no fillers like grains of gums And side note - can I ask why ALL protein isn’t sold in these pouches? The flavor is a neutral EARTHY. If you are used to adaptogens this will not surprise you. Great ingredients. Poor mixing quality. If you are planning to use this in a smoothie with a blender you will be fine, but I bought this with the intention of adding it to my morning coffee. Typically my powders blend fine into coffee with a frother tool. This one is chunky and leaves thick sludge at the bottom of the mug when done. For the price, this should not be an issue. This tastes great! To be honest, I worried about the taste since everything that's healthy might taste bad. I tried pure pea protein powder, and it tasted awful. I ended up throwing the whole box away! But this one tastes good - not too sweet, no after taste, and with a hint of cinnamon (which is not over powering or annoying). I used whole milk to mix it in my shaker in the morning. It does have some slimy thing, which I guess is the mushrooms. It didn't bother me. Anyway, I think it is a great product! I tried a sample of this through Four Sigmatic.. this is beyond not what I fell I love with! I’ve tried 2 different shaker bottles and a blender.. it’s beyond thick, clumps and does not dissolve regardless of what I try. I reached out to the seller.. but hitting a wall with contacting them. I hate leaving A bad review, but if I can’t reach the seller and make this right then obviously I want to warn other people that this might happen with them.. Maybe just order through the real company because it was definitely worth the sample I tried and this stuff is just inedible :( ... show more

I’m super picky when it comes to protein powders. I pay close attention to ingredients. This product stood out to me because it stated that it has no artificial fillers, gums, or stevia. It has also been tested for heavy metal levels. A lot of plant based protein powders aren’t transparent about the level of heavy metals in their product. As far as taste, I like it! I pair it with vanilla almond milk, a frozen banana and flax seeds. It’s super good! If you enjoy it, I highly recommend signing up for their subscription on their website so you can get a refill every month plus bonus goodies from the company. :) ... show more
