Works great!
Im a repeat customer of this brand. I’ve never had an issue with any of them. BUT you must read the directions, add the appropriate amount of oil, and do the job right. Replacing an air conditioning compressor requires replacing other components and making sure the system is attracted to a vacuum pump for several hours.

Works great, I will report back in the event of ...
Installed in mid year 2015 into a 2002 Honda CRV owned since new. Failure of the original occurred at about 170,000 miles. The failure did not appear to send parts throughout the system. May have been a clutch failure. Installed new condenser as well (original was bent). Works great, I will report back in the event of a a premature failure. Purchased the proper compressor oil at the local autoparts store.

Very Satisfied after 2 weeks
I got lucky. The old compressor seized and burned out the clutch without spreading metal and black death into the rest of the system. I DID NOT need to change the condenser or flush the system. The new one fit OK, but I did have to struggle to get all four bolts to thread properly into the engine block. It’s cooling very well for 2 weeks in the nasty Florida heat, so I am a happy camper so far. I did NOT follow the factory step of removing the alternator for access. Instead, I pulled the radiator assembly. It comes out easily with the two fans still attached. More than enough room to get at the compressor that way. Photo posted with review. Update 10-26-2016. It got through a hotter than average Florida Summer without any problems. Still Happy.

Great Replacement AC Compressor!
Installed this in a 2004 Honda CRV. This one isn't any louder than the oem compressor. Only time will tell how long it will last.

bolts up perfectly
I wish this came with the 1.5 oz of extra oil it needed. smallest one I could find was 8 oz. oiled it, set it on its face to lube the front seal. rotated several times once installed. came with new o rings for the ports on it. Everything works on it so far. hope it lasts. I also replaced the condenser, and blew out all lines.
