These glasses are a step above the normal readers - the 'glass' is more glass-like with great clarity. The look & feel are great too. However - one of the nose pieces just popped off after only a handful of uses & NO abuses (like I would with less expensive ones). As another reviewer reported - the screw is so tiny its going to be a challenge to slip it into place to be super-glued. I could return them - I'm within the 30 day window - but still really like them! Hence the 3 stars. However, I won't be buying others.

I broke a pair of reading glasses on a trip and, during a stopover en route home, I wandered the airport trying to find reading glasses. In face, I walked from Gate 7 to Gate 82! Many shops along the way -- and finally about halfway there I spotted a newsstand that carried Foster Grants! I bought a pair and liked the so well that I bought three more pair from Amazon. I really like this pair the best of those I have purchased except for two things: one, this pair did not come with a case (all readers should come with cases because the lenses will scratch if you just throw them in your pocket or purse) and, two, I really wish that this particular style came in additional colors other than purple. I am one of those people who has purchased "drugstore" readers for as long as I can remember. What stands out about these Foster Grants is that vision is exceptionally clear (making me wonder how much I've been straining my eyes in the past!). I'm a Foster Grant reading glasses convert! Great value and great readers.

I've been buying Foster Grant's Daniella +2 glasses for a few years. I have several pairs in use simultaneously until they get old or flimsy and I get a new pair without consideration. However, the pair of glasses I got this week are different. THEY LOOK LIKE THE ORIGINAL ITEM, but they are very light + the lenses are not GLASS (JUST PLASTIC), they give me a headache and a weird feeling, and they don't have spring hinges.
