  • Like someone turned the lights on!!
Color: Dark Teal Magnification Strength: 2.75 x
These glasses are fantastic! I love the shape, color and the fact they made my world clear again! I used to have progressives but for the past few years I haven't so I need to get used to these again. While my insurance company argues about coverage at least I can see. Yes, I would buy again and I would definitely recommend to anyone to buy a pair. ... show more

  • Comfortable and performs as described
Color: Dark Teal Magnification Strength: 2.5 x
I can see my computer screen and read paper documents, just what I needed. They fit well and are comfortable.

  • Decent glasses
Color: Dark Teal Magnification Strength: 1.25 x
The glasses are decent. The frame around the lenses, the part that is rubberized feels nice. The metal sides/over the ear pieces are a bit flimsy and feel cheap. I like that there is no harsh bifocal line. The lenses themselves work well. They are light weight glasses.

  • Clear focus and anti glare at night, helpful while driving
Color: Dark Teal Magnification Strength: 2.5 x
Excellent focus. Anti glare qualities help not only with screen but also at night while driving. The glare of the cars don’t make me shut my eyes. I can see the yellow line on the road even with otherwise blinding car headlights. Also able to distinctly read street signs at light.

  • I have owned 8 pairs of these glasses. I love them till they all break in the same way
Color: Dark Teal Magnification Strength: 1.5 x
I really like these glasses. They are light weight and the lens work well. Now here's the "but" They all break on the bottom part of the frame around the lenses after about 6-8 months of normal use. The frame just breaks and the lens fall out. Has happened to 7 of my 8 pairs. I don't have this issue with the brown framed version of these. Nice while they last, don't last long enough for the cost. ... show more

  • DO NOT BUY!!
Color: Dark Teal Magnification Strength: 1.5 x
These are horrible!! I bought these readers because I love the style and matted teal color. The design, and lenses are great. What I did not like is that the broke sitting on my dash in the car within a week. I should have returned them (they need to withstand heat to some degree…Ohio, early May), but they don’t. I decided to fix them with contact cement, and that put it back together, only for them to crack again in almost the same location!! See pic at the nose area. Once again, I fixed the glasses. Last week, I put them on again (I’ve rarely worn them…maybe a dozen time since owning them), and I’ll be dipped in tar, the damned things now broke on the left outer side. I’ve done nothing to them to warrant them breaking so easily. The plastic in these frames are so delicate that I don’t see how they can hold up over time. I feel I deserve my $35 back. I’m not one of those that returns everything they buy, or complain about it, but these Foster Grant reader take the cake. You’d think for the premium of $35 for readers, when you can get some for less than $10, that Foster Grant would have used much better plastics than what these are made from. So be aware, these will likely crack on you too. Not worth $5, let alone $35! ... show more

  • Stylish readers.
Color: Brown Magnification Strength: 2.5 x
I have enjoyed these glasses and they have become my favorites in my reader collection. They are very helpful especially when I’m using a desktop computer screen.

  • A tinted, reflective, and refractive mess. Plus they're small.
Color: Brown Magnification Strength: 2.75 x
First off, let me say that I love the look of these. And other than them being a little too small, they're quite comfortable. They're light, the hinges flex and spring nicely, and the nose bridge is just right. Two stars for comfort. Alas, I don't like anything else about them (and will be returning them). Here are my main beefs: 1) There is a definite pink/brown tint to the lenses. I'm guessing they might be blue-light blockers, for working on the computer, though it doesn't say that on the description or on the packaging. This tinting isn't described in the product's listing page text, and the picture with the listing shows crystal-clear, untinted lenses, when they're definitely not. 2) They're narrow. About a full centimeter narrower than my other off-the-shelf readers. That makes a difference in the width of the field of vision. It's a little annoying, but it's something I can put up with. Worst of all: 3) They are highly reflective and refractive. As I sit here, I can see the reflection of things that are behind me and to the side of me. I can also see some sort of refractive image of my computer screen, sort of a ghost image that appears above the screen. These absolutely do not have an anti-reflective coating. In fact, they're worse than my $5 dime store glasses! I think whatever coating they put on that produces the tint is also great at producing reflections, unfortunately. I find it terribly distracting. and 4) the focal distance isn't quite right. They may be great when looking at a desktop computer's screen, but when using a laptop, the screen is a little too close to be in focus. If I tilt my head up a little, the laptop's screen comes into focus, but it's not a natural position, and it feels uncomfortable. I can put up with the size difference. I can even put up with the long focal length/head tilt thing. But the tinting and the reflectiveness are deal breakers. Back they go! ... show more
