I really liked this costume! It said the size was standard on the advert, but when i opened it , the package read 14/16. It for great though. I’m 5’7 and 145lbs and it was a nice fit, not too tight or loose. It was long for me. I wore combat boots ( very low heel) and it just hit the floor. I would periodically step on the back bottom of dress. It has a hoop at the very bottom of dress and was pretty sturdy, but I did wear a petty coat and that worked fine. Sleeves are sheer and the waist part was a bit see through, but not extremely. Overall it is a great costume, would absolutely recommend it! ... show more

This is a beautiful Halloween costume! It's a little pricey, but a good investment if you want to wear it several years. The costume is nice quality and has a strap that wraps around the back to make it tighter. I am 5'6" and 135 pounds and it fit me great! I wore flat boots with this costume and the length came all the way down to the ground. Not dragging, but all the way down. If you're shorter, it might hit the ground or you may need to wear some heels to get the length up. It has a built in petticoat to make the dress look full. The costume also comes with a veil. I was needing a scary costume for our office Halloween theme this year and was not about to spend $60 for some cheaply made costume at the Halloween store. I saw this dress online and took a chance. The quality of this costume was FANTASTIC, a little thin material at the top but great construction, the hoop skirt was a hit - definitely more figure flattering than the standard OSFA costumes you are used to trying on that fit like a potato sack. I am a size 12/14 and this fit perfect. Has some stretch so definitely could fit even larger. You won't be disappointed with this. I read several reviews talking about the ironing. This was the perfect base dress for my Constance Hatchaway costume this Halloween. I wanted a lace Victorian, but buying a real vintage wedding dress online was going to be way too expensive for one night. So I went this route instead and was very pleased. I added blue battery powered fairy lights to it to give it a ghostly glow as well as to the included veil. It fit good and is pretty well made. Your typical mass produced halloween costume. The fit was fine for the most part, but the area designated for the chest was super small, even in the large that I ordered. So it cut me in half, if you will. The drab pieces were good on the front, but on the back there was only 1 piece and it was right in the center, so it looked like a weird tail. When you hear "outfit," you think, "Okay, cool!" But when you hear "costume," you think, "Cheap." Honestly, the quality wasn't as bad as I expected. Can the green-grayish mesh things rip easily? Yes. Is the hoop part a little messed up? Yes. However, there's just something about it that I love! I'm most likely getting another because I'm making it a sewing project now! Like other reviews say, it's thin, and if you lift the first layer, it's see-through, as is the top part (the corset-looking thing). It really is one-size-fits-all since it's super stretchy and can fit many body shapes by using the bow that you can tie. I purchased this to wear Halloween. The dress looks as pictured but is a little long for me. I am 5'2 ". The dress has a wire that allows the dress to balloon out or you can gently press it and the dress goes flat. It is comfortable, and. not see through, so there is no need for a slip or additional undergarments. The top is a snug, but it is suppose to replicate a corset. I did not notice much stretch.
