I was replacing an old chrome recessed paper holder, so I already had the hole in my drywall and the back plate. This was slightly larger, so I did have to cut away at some drywall but easy no big deal there. I like the quality and finish. I’m fine with that. My only gripe is the stinking spring loaded roll that holds the paper. It literally is just two pieces of loose metal With a spring. It falls apart the second you take off the roll. There’s nothing threaded or whatever to keep it relatively together like all the other models. Cheap design and just skipping corners. But whatever, it’s installed and looks fine. I’ll be the sucker who keeps dealing with it falling apart and me finding the spring when I change rolls….

We were updating our bathroom fixtures from silver to gold, but end up using both silver and gold. It really looks great. We already had the same looking recessed toilet paper holder in silver but changed to gold. It really looks great and it was very easy to install. If you are installing a new vanity I recommend that you have the hold cut out first before install the vanity, it just make it easier.

This comes in minimal packaging, you have to put the parts that hold the toilet paper roll on the holder. Not difficult to do. Looks nice.
