My son bought this for his 2014 Ford Mustang. The old convertible top had deteriorated and began to leak, so he began scouring the internet for options. He is a 17 year old and didn't have the financial means to pay to have a new top professionally installed. He found this top on Amazon and, after watching some YouTube videos, told me he was confident that he and my husband could install this top and save a lot of money in the process. I was very skeptical, but he was adamant he could do it, so we ordered the top. He and my husband did run into a small hiccup during the installation process, but that was due to following a YouTube video that skipped an important step in the process and had nothing to do with the quality of this product. They were able to get the job done. It looks great (the car looks nearly new again), it was a great fit, easy to install, seems very thick and durable. He immediately took it to the car wash to see if it passed the ultimate test, which it did - no leaks! I bought this item in May and got it professionally installed by June. By July it was ripping apart and shortly after water was getting inside my car. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Its quality is terrible! I’ve been trying to get my money back but haven’t had luck. From the images you can see that the stitching is coming off the window as well as the edges. I tried putting sealant to stop the water but had no luck. Now I gotta buy a new top and spend money on the installation. I’m super frustrated with this product. Save yourself a headache, or two… and finally I payed $489 back then, now it’s $400. You can see why. ... show more

Well I finally got the new top on. Very nice product for the price. Anytime I had a question the company responded quickly. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Would also recommend taking it to someone who does it all the time,by yourself is kinda hard. Needed a few extra hands to close it and stretch it to lock. Other than that was great. One thing I would like to tell the company is that I wish it had the line on it for where you should staple it at also have the string inside of it to pull the wire through uad to make my own kinda of a pain but did it. First I was skeptical at the low price, most of these roofs are going for over 900. Decided since the return date was for 2 months I would try it. Only reason this roof is cheap is because of its lack of adjustability and the tips are super likely to collect dirt because they are pre-sowed. But honestly, for less than 500 bucks and a DIY'er super worth for a car that is still in great mechanical shape. Totally worth saving the 2 grand to get it tailored by someone who knows what they are doing xD ... show more

Installed on my 2013 Mustang. Looks great and fit well. Email for installation instructions. Took about 12 hrs and had to buy a riveter & pneumatic stapler to do the install. Should also replace the wire guides, so order them ahead of time. The directions didn’t show how much excess fabric to pull down before stapling so I had a couple wrinkles in the back but overall it looks way better than my old weathered top. After I finished installing it was super tight and wouldn’t latch closed without two people pulling it but I left it out in the hot sun the next day and it’s closed fine ever since. I would definitely recommend this top if you have a worn, leaking, or severely weathered ragtop. It will greatly improve your cars appearance. It takes time but if you have decent mechanical skills it’s not too difficult as long as you have the instructions. Not sure why they can’t just include them in the box but actually the emailed PDF version was easier to see and follow on my laptop. ... show more

The top looks great, although it was VERY hard to put on. It does not come with any instructions, we had to rely on a series of YouTube videos. I had my friend do most of the work with me assisting as needed. He's really handy and can do just about anything, but it took over 12 hours to install. I'm happy with it though and the price, including what I paid my friend for the job, was half what I would have paid going to a professional shop. ... show more
